Seeing an ad online for a teeth cleansing/whitening product trial that would cost only $3.00, to ship, I made payments for is and now I realized that my credit Card was charged for 94.44 on the 14th of December 2009 and then for 52.04 on the same day. What is this nonsense? The deal said that the trial was without any obligations. That in whatever case, I signed up know that I will be paying no more than $5.00 I am not even done trying the product yet and now $150.00 out of my account?! I'd like to review Hotel Carter in New York. I had a VERY limited budget for my trip to New York and didn't want to waste a lot of money on lodging while I was there and I wanted to be as centrally located as possible. I ordered a pair of boots from this company, which charged my credit card even before emailing me that the boots were not in stock. I twice emailed them (waiting through two billing cycles) to complain that the credit hadn't shown up. They reported back that they were "updating" their charge system and would send me a check. When that didn't arrive after three weeks, I called them. I was on hold for 45 minutes before a human being answered. I signed a contract with Climate Guard for glass block windows. I decided to cancel and I had 3 days to do so. I signed a cancellation contract and on the contract it stated I should receive a refund within 20 calendar days. I cancelled 11/14/09 and contacted them on 12/4/09. I was then told the store policy is 30 calendar days. So I waited today is 31 days and they asked that I wait an additional 7 days. They are a piss poor company. My home burned down and insurance wanted us to use 1 of 3 of their preferred providers, we chose Midlans Marble and Granire in Omaha. The lady (which I found out later was related to the owner, they are all related except for their contractors) promised additional discounts at the time of signing. As of last Monday before noon I deposited a check on behalf of my wife. We have a joint account. It was through her company that she works for. When I deposited the check the banker told me it would be a two day business hold. The funds were suppose to be released as of midnight last night. Did not happen. I have an old sportscar. It is German. It had a blown head gasket, clouds of white smoke out the tailpipe. The son said no problem. $700. I have all parts already. Customer ordered HD TV satellite service ON 02/03/09 and was told price was guaranteed for 18 months but was told that it would only require a 12 month commitment over phone only to find agent was not truthful and the agreement was allegedly for 18 months. I signed up for Express Paid Surveys then realising when i signed up and paid that it was an all american website and none of the surveys applied to me living in Australia. So i emailed them and they refunded my money. I thought that was over until yesturday they took out $140!!! It is pending so i cant touch it and i cant file a complaint through my bank.
