When I purchased my car a loan was made to Sovereign Bank by the dealer. At that time it seemed ok. I made over a years worth of payments ontime and I got sick and fell one month behind. In this day of electronic data transfer, there is NO EXCUSE for the time it takes for COBRA confirmation of benefits to happen. My husband lost his job on 9/4/09. Matthew Sherman of United Lift Truck sold us a used order picker (a type of lift truck for a warehouse). We agreed on a price and gave him a deposit. He never owned the truck, but supposedly had it sourced. However, he never got the truck (never tried to get it, we found out the source of the equipment). They mislead me to believe that I was only going to have to pay $1.95 for the starter kit to create a website of my own to do business at home on my computer selling ads. Then I discover that my credit card was charged $79.99 after a 7 day trail period which I was not aware of. They stated it was mentioned in the term and conditions portion. I bought mens wear at sears and submitted rebate for $50 reward card. The rebate appeared to be successfully submitted on Sears web site and after few weeks it appeared "paid" but I never received it in mail. I followed up 5 times by using "contact us " feature (there is no phone number you can call) and everytime they would send same automated response to wait for 3 weeks. Border linx advertises that you can get an item shipped and they look after everything including duties. You prepay all these costs. I received a U.S. address to order goods and then Borderlinx ships the goods from the U.S. to Canada. The adress is actually a DHL branch. Borderlinx has an exclusive partnership agreement with DHL. Well I am obsessed with my money and where it goes so to make sure it went through I called to check my card balance.
