The meter (which was running when he picked us up and rolled over to next price before we left the entryway) said the fare was $14.00 and the ride in the other direction to the Hotel from the train station was $10.00. I went to pick up my clothing and was charged $185.06 instead of $15.06 by his Hispanic employee whom we had a language barrier with. So 2 years ago I'm in Firestone to get a wheel alignment, in a moment of weakness the Store Manager convinces me to get the 'lifetime' package. This means I should never have to pay for an alignment again & can get wheel alignment on demand (within reason I would think, once every 1-2 years...) AT&T is pulling a bait and switch scam by quoting one price on the phone to get you to switch providers and sell you a bundled service with internet/TV/Phone. Beware. This auction site often fails to recognize auction numbers, thus I cannot use the credits I bought from them to make my bids. Also it will often give a generic "could not submit bid" when it fails to put a successful bid in - with no explanation. If you really need to bid on something and can't tolerate failure, DON'T use stealthbid. A couple weeks ago I ordered the Becker Storage Ottoman and just received it yesterday. When I opened the box I was shocked to find the poor quality of the project. The hinges and screws to open the top of the ottoman were broken and the product was not functional at all. On my purchase order it clearly states "Membership: We will refund your membership fee in full at any time if you are dissatisfied." We were called today (10/7/09) about an add we supposedly placed two years ago from a business called Biz Advertising. They said they would send us an invoice for $700 and that we should pay them. They really wanted to deal with me, the Office Manager, because they thought I knew the least. When I transferred them over to our Executive Director, she was asked to rerecord our information and was given a claim number (358163247).
