After spending three hours at Lowe's finding the products I needed on my day off, Sunday, my company check was declined for NO REASON available. My friend and I both ordered VOX 500GB External drive through e-cost in Dec 2008 with a rebate of $40 and have yet to see anything. VOX official website has a rebate status check which doesn't even show that a rebate was submitted for either one of us and when we contact ecost all they say is that we have submitted your rebate again and are waiting for a response back. Per ecost we'll be contacted within 4-7business days with an update, which I have yet see after 6 different calls and 8months out. I had gone through them, signed 1 yr contract and paid $500 for photo shoot/portfolio. Didn't even receive the 5th pose for portfolio. Having financial troubles went to Fl CommerceCreditUnion. Told not to worry it would be handled! Did not get a HUD until the day of signing which was 4 th day after the 3 day wait period! We were given a rate that was outrageous. We had told creditors we were getting the checks that day and the bank knew it. If that was not the case we would have walked out. On Friday, I went into the store to buy a cell phone to have a Pay As You Go service. They offered me a package that included the phone & a free $50 card of minutes. She told me the phone takes 10 minutes for them to activate it for me, but they would deduct $15 of the $50 free minutes to do this for me. I had a bad experience when I called them to buy a Olympus E-510. The price for the package with 2 lenses was $469.00 w/free shipping and no tax. Sounded like a great deal - so I tried to buy it over the website - the order would not go through until you spoke to someone on the phone - this guy tried to sell me a battery as well as the charger and for a lot more than the market price. We purchased a new $65 blood pressure monitor at Wal Mart. It didn't work right out of the box, so we returned to Wal mart and was informed they could not replace or refund on it, that it had to be sent to the company by us. Company promises to reduce interest rates on credit cards and guarantees at least $1200 reduced payment per card. This was not done. Company claims that they only promised a work up of what is owed on cards and a payment schedule in order to pay off cards faster.
