We booked rooms through travel link this past spring. We showed up only to find out that they did not have all rooms available. They put some of us in bank owned rooms (cops came and shut us out). This in addition some rooms not having heat, hot water, and other amenities. We are still trying to get our money back from this utter disaster. We have engaged a lawyer to assist becuase we are talking about thousands of dollars in refunds. People that mislead us and did not give us our refunds. I purchased a Huntington House Sectional from Southern Design Furniture in N Carolina in August of 2008. Within months the semi attached pillows were ripping away from the back of the sofa. These are the picture of the ripping pillows. I was checking my online banking statement to see if a charge had been taken out, and low and behold there was a $29.95+1.00 charge for Credit Diagnosis. You may think that you are buying real goods, you aren't. No where does it mention that these goods are poor immitations. A few months ago I came into a pretty good sum of $$ which allowed me to pay off all of my credit cards, one of which was a Chase card.. I was notified of 2 recalls relating to my Acura TL 2004. There are no Acura dealers in Wichita Falls. The nearest is about 125 miles away in Fort Worth. I asked Acura via the phone number provider, permission to have a local Honda dealer to fix the recall.After waiting 1 week they turned me down. The problem is that, no Acura dealer in the Fort Worth or Dallas area will fix the problem on Saturdays. I will have to take a day off from work and I was not assured of a free loaner while the car is in the shop. This site tricked me. At first they just reeled me in with instant payouts but just like so many other PTC sites, after about 3 or so months they stop paying and state that their paypal got frozen. So many other sites started out just like them, like smithbux for example. They too went through the same thing. Reel you in and when after you keep investing and make money, they stop their instant payouts and give 50 or so reasons why they can't pay you. On May 7, 2009 Country Inn & Suites of Calabasas, CA inappropriately charged my Discover card $150. They allege that someone smoked in one of our two guest rooms. They posted the charge more than 24 hours after we checked out of the hotel without ever discussing the matter with anyone in my party of four, none of whom smoke. Airtel Callhome people have blocked my account because I didn't use it for 6 months. I had a balance of around 50 dollars in it. They should have sent me atleast one email warning that the account will get blocked. They did not send that. Does anyone know where to make the payments? I think that it was not fair to us as the consumer to be left out in the cold about how to pay our debts.
