Attempted to use payphone near visitor center at Mammoth Cave National Park. Charged call to Mastercard. Call went through, wife could hear me, I could not hear her. She hung up. I called operator on same phone, she could hear me, I could not hear her. She made a statement along the lines of "no response on the line, operator terminating call".
Went into the Mammoth Cave Hotel, found another payphone, had all the same labels as the one outside. Call operator, a man asked what number I called. Next thing I hear is the phone ringing. Never spoke with wife. Call never went through. Still have a bill for 36.53 on the credit card. read full review »

I owe a bank account some money that was owed when I closed my account. I don't dispute the amount of the bill. I have been laid off since June 15, 2009. Active .com/race registrations
I clearly didn't read all the details, so this is my fault, but just in case you sign up for a race using Active.com, watch out for the hidden charge for their Free membership of $59.95 a year . I signed up for a race, paid the fee through active.com, then 30 days later was billed for an extra $59.95. I called the number on my credit card. The recording states, "if you are calling a about a $59.95 membership charge, push...", so apparently plenty of people have called in on this. I went ahead and googled Jared Ryan Properties and found two compaints on them with ripoffreport.com. No matter how many times I call I get the same old story over and over again. BEAWRAE OF RESVPURE SCAMS. On June 02, 2009, I ordered the free trial of Smile Brite (Teeth Whitening Product) through their web site by just paying the shipping charges of $3.77 with my credit card and one week later (June 8, 2009) I received the free trail product than after using the product for one week I cancelled the order on June 15, 2009 which is still within 10 days of cancellation period from the date of product received. I was billed three times by RESVPURE for amount $78.37, $ 5.95 and $ 5.95 on my credit card which I did not authorize. False advertising on web & in booklets. Concorde Glass ad claims privacy rating of 8. Not true. Our sidelites contain 50% clear glass. Since 2000 we have had 3 different Therma Tru front doors with different glass installed in 3 different houses. Other 2 were as advertised. Archlite is rated as 6 & and in our current house. Both sidelites & door are as advertised. BUT CONCORDE sidelites in our new house must be a 3 not 8. We selected Concorde rather than Archlite based on the Therma Tru code. I was paying approximately $200. per month to be a part of the GEMFIND.NET b2b network. I joined the network to sell diamonds to other diamond dealers, and other professional jewelers.
I am very computer savvy.
Anyway GEMFIND misled me to believe that there were MANY other jewelers and dealers on this network. Well, I did my own checking and turns out there are MAYBE 50 - YES MAYBE FIFTY members total. If that many!
The gemfind network is a joke. It is worthless.

Uthihealth Product- AcaiBerry Detox
This company offered a "free trial" of the AcaiBerry Detox stating I only had to pay $.99 for the shipping. I did understand that I had to cancel my trial (HASSELL FREE) myself. I was charged $82.31 for the free bottle and immediately disputed this and cancelled on August 12. I have now accrued additional charges for another bottle they sent. I called to complain and they said they did not show any cancelation and will not refund my charges. THIS IS A SCAM and I am reporting it to the Better Business Bureau. read full review »

The salesman told me they had a buyer waiting and that my timeshare would be sold in 30 days. It's been over 90 days and nothing has happened. Company miscalculated gross pay on last paycheck received. Company did not send paycheck for last days worked.
When presenting the owner, controller, payroll person and "consultant" with the correct numbers and facts, they conveniently stated that the Pay Periods that have been listed on my checks for over a year were not correct.
I have been told by other former employees that this has happened to them also.

My router is under warantee and have had a couple of issues with it, but when I called Linksys for service, their Tech "lady" who spoke poor English, kept me on the line for 1 1/2 hours for troubleshooting before determining the router was defective. An hour and a half?! Please?! And now their return policy ensures it will be at least 3-4 weeks before I have a replacement one. Nice ~ real nice Linksys ~ I run 4 computers for our home business! Biancardi Construction abandoned our deck repair project when less than 1/2 was completed, owing us thousands of dollars for pre-paid work and materials. The job which the owner Chris Biancardi estimated would take 1 - 2 weeks dragged on for over 2 months with multiple excuses for non-completion. Intellius owns PeopleSearch.com Ditto all of the other complaints. Last night I did two searches one with Intellius and One with People Search and received 6 additional billings for services I did not request.
ALL OF THE INFORMATION I PAID FOR I LATER FOUND I COULD GET ON THE WEB FOR FREE. My last batch of encounters with this company proves they are scam artisits. I am going to look up the corporate address and write the CEO a letter and then I am reporting them to the FTC. Having friends over for the weekend of Aug. 29th I bought two of Pilgrim's Pride Variety packs to put on the grill. To my surprise I found four back portions in the packs, and no legs. It was two man crew using truckmount powerhead equipments. My wife, two children and I had a six night stay at Beaches Boscobel. Unfortunately, it was among the worst vacations that I've ever had. So many things went wrong during our stay, I can scarcely compile them all.
