I have been promised a call back for 17 days, saying a superivor would get back to me in 24 hours. I was told that there was a sale on the purchase of DVDs, and then my account was cancelled and "debt" sent to an attorney for all of $44.00 because the little girl at the counter had the information wrong--apparently, there was a sale one rentals.
I am an attorney and can't believe after being a good customer of 20 years, I have been called a theif.
If I treated my clients this way, i would have no clients. read full review »

The original creditor is mandated by federal law, to charge-off an account when no payments have been received for 180 days.
That date is refered to as the Date of Last Activity (DLA)’ and reported as such, to the credit reporting agencies by the creditor.
After they write it off, they "Bundle" all these... read full review »

How do they bill you? Most legitimate mentors (for hire) will charge by the hour. Most illegitimate mentor services charge a large up front fee for X number of sessions in X number of weeks (or months). The difference is if you find the advice worth less than you expected, you don't call the per hour person back and you only lose the price of a session or two. If you find the advice of the large up front fee people worthless you have to fight like hell to get your money back against people who likely make their money by not giving refunds. read full review »
