In October 2008 I purchased a Dean Markley PT-13 Chromatic Tuner from Guitar Center in Illinois for $59.99. Shortly after purchase, one of the tuner's LED lamps began behaving erratically, then stopped working entirely. Also at times the tuner "freezes" up and fails to operate at all. Watch out if you are bidding on uBid.com. I had a bad experience with them recently. I bid on an HP laptop. When the auction closed (in this case it did not went to overtime), uBid.com web site showed me as the winner. However, more than an hour later I received an outbid notice. I ordered this on 1/209 as a trial order and it said you had 15 days from day or receipt to let them know if you wanted to return the product. The trial price was $6.95. It arrived on 1/13, slip showed it shipped on 1/05/09, order made on 1/2/09. On 1/22/09 I was charged the full priced of $59.95 which will cause me to bounce about three credit cards at the cost of $99. We installed Bruce Traffic Zone Flooring in a large portion of our home. One of the reasons we chose this product was the the 25 year moisture warranty. We now have swelling at most of the joints and in one bathroom some complete peeling of the top layer. It took 6 months for an inspector to come out, and his report states that the problem is due to the way we cleaned the floor. We maintained the floor like the warranty stated. I own a powerleveling company. I sold 5 accounts to ga-sale, all level 60. They said they would pay within 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, they had only paid for one account. This company advertises one price and charges a much higher price when the order is placed. They advertise buy one get one free, but want to double the shipping charges also. So, a vegatable peeler, buy one get one free was: $14.99 each plus 6.99 S&H, then add $4 sales tax. They then ask you if you want two. A $39.00 late fee is tacked on if the payment is received after 5P.M. on the due date, even if you are paying double the amount due. In September 08 I bought an Aneboda bed frame and Lilliker Bed slats from Ikea. I didn't put it together until Jan. 09. I slept on this new bed one night and the next day I sat on the edge to put on my socks and the slats slipped off of the metal railing inside the bed frame.
