I contacted German Auto Repair about fixing the brakes on my 72 Pantera. I was concerned that my car is an exotic car but they assured me they could fix it. I had the car trailered to them and assumed it would take about 3 days to fix. 3 weeks later they still had not completed the work and when I finally called them after 4 weeks they said the brakes were fixed but now they couldn't get the car started. I have had insurance with Erie and changed from home policy to a business policy. I emailed O’Brien & Associates to please change me back to a home policy due to my business not taking off. I have not had any confermation except for a letter from Department of Motor Vehicles saying that I need to show proof of insurance. Never have I ever dealt with a company where not only the representatives are rude and impatient, But so are the supervisors and management. I explicitly asked Firestone to check the oil leakage from the engine. They gave me $21 written estimate for oil leakage check on Saturday and called later asking me to wait until Sunday. OK. They called me Sunday morning telling me that a dye oil leakage check would cost $70! I said WHAT? So, they gain your business giving you a misleading estimate and later want to charge you much more for the same job! What a scheme! DO NOT ACCEPT! Lifted my 1994 Corvette to repair a tire. Position the jack in the wrong location and bent the undercarriage. Local store refuse to accept responsibility. Sears shop were the only shop to jack my vehicle after purchase. I was told by the manager at Sears that the damage was not visible and the car drove ok, what's the big deal? Contacted customer service with email on 2 different times, promise that someone would contact me in two business days, never happen. To date(01/05/2009) after numerous phone calls we still have no payment & have been told the check has not been written yet. No other explanation is given. We are simply told "we don't know". We brought our Kia Sedona in for service due to check engine light that remained on. We brought the car in 4 seperate times. They couldn't figure it out. The 5th time my husband was there for 4hrs. on New Year's Eve and was never offered a shuttle service that other customers were receiving. After overhearing another customer ask for loaner my husband also did so and was told that they do not give loaners . They dispatched an African American male driver to my location. He sold me a battery on the spot and I was on my way. December 2008 the battery stopped working. Be on the alert for worker fraud at this store. I brought my auto in for an oil change and wiper blade change. The technician, N. Jarman, tried to sell me another radiator flush after I just had one about a year prior. He was insistent that the radiator was dirty and would be a problem unless I had it flushed. I had another auto service center check the radiator coolant and was told that it was clean and would protect to 20 below zero. Total savings: $89 Customers should only rely on this place for oil changes. Do not trust the recommendations unless verified by another auto service center. read full review »

I ordered an engine from ASAP, they told me it would take them 5 days to deliver it. Two weeks later, it finally arrived, my mechanic mounted the engine only to find out that it was defective, it knocked a lot and smoked like crazy. I called ASAP, informed them about the situation, they said that it smoked because of the oil they put in the engine to preserve it, but it would eventually stop after a couple days. I was towed by this company and charged an illegal fee. During the discussions with the drivers, I was thrown to the ground and kicked in the ribs and head. TNT Specialties Window tinting is a rip-off. The owner Cody Ammons claims to be an expert in tinting but the only thing he seems to be an expert in is giving his customers the run around. Took my single cab truck in to have it tinted. The guy, Ryan, who actually did the work did a fantastic job. I recently took my vehicle in for a 'tune up' because I felt my spark plugs needed changing. Manager called back with a laundry list of things 'wrong'. My car has less then 50k miles on it. One issue they informed me about, particularly bothered me, and that was that they said my 'transmission fluid was very dirty'. Wendy at US Fidelis told me that the warranty would cover electrical, engine, transmission etc. "even the radio", and she just plain lied to me. When my car wouldnt shift out of park I found out that my warranty covers none of the repairs, and in fact covers almost nothing. They keep you on hold forever, they act real concerned if you ever do get hold of someone, but they are lying too when they say they will call you back, investigate, and they dont answer any of your messages either. I WAS a customer of this tire shop for 6+ years. I went in for my regularly scheduled tire rotation which they claim is included when you purchase the tires. They OF COURSE told me that we needed 4 brand new tires however, it wasn't a dire need and he would drive on these tires for another 2 months or so. I traded my 1994 model kubota in on a 2004 model kubota, so far I have had bad service from this machine.When I started using the newer machine, it was very weak after just a short time.So they turned up the pressure on the pump which runs all of the hyraulics for the unit. Well when that failed to help they told me it was a bad pump from the factory. Kubota fixed the pump and I went on my way . The owner of the shop did not appreciated our honesty about the fact my car was having the same issues with the washer fluid. The shop owner got upset with us and refused to work on my car, and demanded that we leave the shop. He escorted us out of the office and then he locked the door behind us. The hour was 2:00 pm. During the bad storm on December 20 to 22 we bought cable chains from the Napa store in Vancouver WA. After putting them on our new VW Rabbit all our warning lights came on. The chains had severed the electronics under our car. The dealership said the chains had been installed correctly but were a bad design. Now we have no ABS, no traction control, no speedometer and it well take 4 weeks and $450 to fix! Was given a quote almost DOUBLE what I could get from a truckstop, roadside facility etc. These roadside peddlers, truckstops etc. are NOT known for their competitive pricing. Enter Les Schwab...
