On Tuesday, April 21, I ran over a boulder. I knew there was severe damage to the undercarriage of the car because of the crunch and scrapes I heard. Since there was traffic behind, and beside me and there wasn't time to react I really didn't have any choice. We faithfully had our car serviced at Superior. When they went out of business, we had to find another dealer to service our vehicle, only to find that we had never been informed of any repairs that needed to be done because they were still under warranty. Apparently, they were waiting for our warranty to expire before informing us of the repairs that needed to be made. Prior to giving my vehicle for repair to easy engines parts plaza i read all these complaints. Reading a few complaints which seemed fake, i decided to give me vehicle to them for repair. To keep things plain and simple, everything happend as promised and i would recommend everyone to use them. They are fantastic for major repairs. Do NOT deal with this company. I was given a car with no spare wheel (and not advised of this) so when I had a puncture I had to wait over an hour for a pick up truck to transport me and the car (midday, no aircon!) for two hours. The car was then replaced (note the tyre note!). I then had a three hr drive back along motorway so lost the whole day. I purchased a new 883 Low Rider in February 2006. I subsequently had 3 services done by Clearwater Harley Davidson in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have discovered that during this time my battery was swopped with an older battery. The battery is dated July 2002 and has the marking 'Vic' scratched onto the face of the battery. I doubt this would have been delivered by Harley Davidson Europe to South Africa with an old battery, so I beleive that while my bike has been serviced on these occasions that the battery must have been swopped with an older one. It took over 30 days for a response from a Promotions mailing center not Bestop! stating the offer had expired and that they issued a notification. 2005 Toyota Tundra started leaking power steering fluid right around 36, 000 miles. By the time it became noticeable and needed to be topped off, vehicle was past the 36, 000 mile warranty. Marina del Rey Toyota diagnosed problem as a defective high pressure hose. They quoted part at over $500 and labor at ~$600 and offered a 10% "discount". I recently finished a 4 year lease with Infiniti for a M35 and made arrangements to turn the car back in. After reading the lease agreement I found that the tires did not meet the standards so I spent $600 on new tires. We also had the car detailed detailed. This place is a nightmare. The owner Micheal is a smooth talker. He will draw you in and pick your pocket for everything you have. The mechanic John is incompetent and does not posses the knowledge to work on a bicycle yet alone a Jeep. Johns work is substandard and his attitude appalling.
