Several times I have brought vehicles to Haglin Automotive for repair. Many times the vehicles have to be returned for work either caused by what I thought to be their incompetence in missing or breaking something. Somethings they have charged and sometimes they haven't. Recently I discovered that they had done a part job on my a/c. The rear air doesn't work. Now I wonder if it is BAIT & SWITCH. AARP & Hartford are advertising that they offer the cheapest insurance. I have 2 cars insured with liberty Mutual and my annual cost is $2100.00. The quote from the Hartford was $4100.00. I had a similar experience as many previous posters. Wish I'd found this site before I sent money to Exotic Motors. I trusted their Ebay rating which was a huge mistake. Vehicle was advertised in good condition but arrived needing $6, 000 worth of work done just to be safe on the road. Had my brand new car there for rear end damage. I had to take it back three times, the 4th time I paid to have the dealer fix it right. They charged more than the dealer and do not give written estimates as required by Mont Co Law for a spoiler install and muffler replacement. I hired Tilton to tint two windows on my truck, i have used him on 3 other cars and had a great job done. This time, I guess he was having a bad day. I fecently bought a part at Hobbie Auto Center, Oroville CA, which I the next day found I could not use. Traditionally, in the parts business there is toleration about accepting returns so long as they are in perfect condition. (Just as I in turn never thought of complaining that the part offered to me was in a torn open package). However, on returning the part I was confronted with a 35% re-stocking fee. These people are completely unqualified to work on transmissions. They have attempted a repair on our transmission three times. This time they have had our car for two and a half weeks. They "can't figure out what's wrong"! I would just go get it and take to a dealer but this is "warranty" work form a previous repair and the dealer wants to put in a new transmission, $2400.00.
