2009 Honda Civic Hybrid
Marc April 26, 2010
I have a 2009 Honda Civic with 13, 000 miles that has totally bald tires. The dealership acknowledges that the tires are defective but want to charge me $350.00 to replace them. As of yesterday, 4/23/10, the car FAILED the state inspection for bald tires. I never heard of a brand new car that needs tires in less than 1 year. The dealership refuses to even call me back. I have written them many times with NO response. The car is simply unsafe to drive and now it will have no state inspection. I can't even use the car after 4/30/10. I need the vehicle for work. WHAT DO I DO NOW ? read full review »

We purchased a used camper from Bullyan RV Duluth Minnesota. the camper appeared to be in good shape other than a wrinkle in the linoleum all looked great. Upon buying it they took it in the shop and gave it a once over to make sure all was well and good. After we got a thumbs up from the inspection we left for a season of camping. It was a poor camping summer because of weather so we managed only 8 nights in our (new to us Trailer) We cleaned up out unit and stored it in a sound storage building for we did not want it out in the winter... read full review »

I answered an ad in WORKKAMPER NEWS for a "work from home" position in sales and marketing. Worked since 10/16/09. Paid $500.00 per week until 12/31/09. After that, just excuses. Then they offered me commissions, first 20%, then 25%, but still not paid. Come to find out Kim Harper Scarmozzino and James Scarmozzino have; ...NO BUSINESS LICENSE, NO SALES TAX LICENSE, DID NOT DEPOSIT WITHHELD TAXES TO THE FEDERAL OR STATE GOVERNMENT, NO BOOKS OR RECORDS OF INSOME, SALES TAX OR ANYTHING. Future Classics LLC
RacG67 April 23, 2010
The owner, Nick lied to me. He told me the car was a great daily driver and it almost overheated on the way home due to multiple issues including a bad carb. I had the car repainted because he told me that he had a great bodyshop. He said they would sand off the blue and repaint black. He sent it to MAACO and the blue is still showing through even after them supposedly fixing it. He said he would put on dual exhaust but instead split the pipe after the muffler to make it "look like" dual exhaust. Nick completely took advantage of me and ripped me off. read full review »

Muffler King downtown Denver, CO off Santa Fe (I think) To whichever muffler king or kings it may concern: After discovering my 94 accord had faltering brakes i decided to get them fixed so as not to cause a conflagration on the highway. I recently moved from Philladelphia to Denver and was not familiar with a local trusted mechanic. After a search for shops close by i decided on our intrepid muffler king. While waiting to have my brakes replaced and serviced i was approached by the "Son of the Owner" to perform a favor. As i wa... read full review »

Mercedesmanuals advertised a electronic code scanner online for my CLK 320 automobile. It was a little pricey, but I needed it. I ordered the "CClassOBD" code scanner. However, I received a generic "CAN OBD code reader, Memoscan U480". They said that the C Class scanner was discontinued. They overcharged me by $10 for the substitute. Also, the substitute scanner was sold through Amazon.com for $30 less, and it didn't read specific Mercedes codes. In the middle of march we started to receive telephone calls that we are "2 months past due" we went ahead and checked our bank account, and the checks DID clear our bank. We then called electro savings and attempted to provide proof that the checks were cashed by electro savings, however they told us they were not accepting anything, as proof. We bought a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica from Cherry Creek Dodge, on South Havana in Aurora, CO on October of 2009. When negotiating prices for the car, we were told that they could only go so low because they had put so much money and time into the car that they would be losing money. The day after we bought the car we had to take it back because the windshield wipers werent working correctly. When the front wipers were turned on the back would spray and wipe, but when the back was turned on nothing sprayed and the front wipers turned on. After... read full review »

Nationwide Insurance Co.
Working with (?) a Nationwide Claims adjustor to settle a claim of their Insured whose driver hit and totaled my 1998 Blazer, their driver was at fault. Nationwide used a loss adjust value from CCC International Services that valued the car at $3100, the lowest figure in CCC's research. I was told that if I wanted them to consider raising the value, it was up to me to provide them with comparable vehicles. I did so, and was told that they didn't have to take those figures and would not consider another price. The average value of... read full review »

A couple tips about Car buying from someone who recently learned a few lessons the hard way in my dealings with Shore Toyota. They used deceptive marketing. They then tried a Spot Delivery Scam. Issued a contract for a certain term and interest rate and then called back one week later to to raise the interest rate and monthly payment. Here's some lessons. First and foremost, trust your gut instinct. If you don’t want the new car, don’t buy it just because the deal sounds good. Don’t let them pressure you... read full review »

I had my tires changed at my usual garage (NOT CT) and didn't have time to get the tires aligned. I figured, I'd get the alignment done at the Canadian Tire down the street, no big deal. So on April 14th, I bring in my car for the alignment, no big deal right? HAH! They call me 3 hours later to advise me they can't align the wheels, and I need $940.00 in repairs to fix the problem! Ranger GM Hibbing MN
diostebendiga April 21, 2010
Whining noise was coming from under the hood of a 05 Trailblazer and Ranger GM of Hibbing Minnesota said the alternator needed to be replaced. It would cost $462.17 plus $80.00 for labor. I told them I'd wait to have it replaced. I brought it to a different garage and he diagnosed it as a bad tensioner pulley. Costs $51.00 with the part plus labor. He also said Trailblazer's are known for having these go bad. Shouldn't the dealer have already known this? They must see this problem a lot more than a small garage would. Guess their hurting for business so decide to try and con innocent customers. read full review »
