I had some keys fall off my 7 month old Compaq laptop keyboard. Went through the warranty reporting India merry-go-round, paid $19.95 to ship my laptop in for warranty service. I purchased a bolens push mower at lowes. I used it for the first time in the fall to make the last cut of my yard before the frost got the grass. The skirt that hangs down in the back would stop the blade when you backed up and kill the mower. Just bought the samsung Blu-Ray play at Walmart for $168. Opened it up and all the equipment to make it work isn't in there, no LAN adaptor. you have to buy it separately. I went back to the store to get one. Walmart doesn't even sell the LAN adaptor in the store. We will have to go to Best Buy and pay another $79 for the adaptor. Mac OS 10.6 has been out for almost 9 months and HP does not have a drive for scanjet 4890. In Sept HP said it would be out in Nov '09. Now the spring. Typical... Laptop City in El Paso, Texas sells and repairs laptops. I exchanged my Toshiba laptop for an HP Pavilion, because the cost to repair my laptop was more expensive than buying a used laptop. Big mistake! The store owner failed to explain what the warranty covered. I told him the cooling fans did not work, and he said he could fix them at a $90 dollar per hour labor rate.
