HP mini hard drive failed. I was living in Evanston IL for the summer when it failed. Box to HP was sent to Evanston. I then moved to Maryland and called customer support to change my address. They said it was changed. They then sent the supposedly repaired laptop back to Evanston. Evanston did not accept delivery and the computer was returned to Hildago, Texas. See HP customer order WMY812 - 01 . I now have called HP customer support in India every day for almost two weeks and they say the computer will be sent to my Maryland address within 48 hours. Like many of the complaints in this forum, I, too purchased a brand-new dv6000se Media Center Edition from Best Buy (with their two-year service plan) about a month after it was released (according to the sales person). I bought a 3 year membership to a Spyware program for £33.86 & a similar 3 year membership to an Antivirus program, for my Laptop. The Antivirus was bought online on 12th July 2009 & the Spyware remover on 23rd July 2009. PC Mighty Max, Inc. of Valrico, FL (details below) placed two pop-up windows on my computer. They wanted to sell me a computer service. I chose not to purchase their service. I have a GE wash machine that I have had problems with since 2005 when I purchased it. Clothes do not come clean, I am not overloading, and the clothes still have dry spots on them when I take them out.
