I was recieving messages saying my virus protection (spy sweeper) was expiring. I was late in renewing and lost Internet connections. I contated the online payment option to renew. I was charged $90.90 but did not receive the service. I had my neighbor come over two days later so I could get connected. Ordered a blue hippo computer on 6-12-09; they deducted the first payment on 6-16-09; i cancelled the order on 6-17-09; they promised a refund of the initial payment within 45 ays. As of this date I still have not received refund even though i have filed a complaint with BBB, had several phone conversations, emails, correspondence with Blue Hippo. I just purchased an HP SimpleSave 1TB external hard drive back up system for my computer. HP's advertising says this is a hands free automatic backup. It's only automatic the first time you plug it in. After that it's a completely manual system that tries to start over from scratch each and every time you manually start it. If you are a novice computer user you would probably not even know that your system was unprotected. Nowhere in the documentation are you alerted to this fact. These people are selling sim cards for cell phones and other products for a cheap price. There is a whole section on their website showing special instructions on how to step by step use your cell phone to call someone elses home phone then you get charged if you answer it!!! It has happened to me several times. DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE IF YOU SEE A 126 number in the beggining of the number!!! Somehow they figured out how to do it. PLEASE CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE!!! This is my complaint about Alltel concerning phoney and/or possibly manipulated dates & records of calls and outrageous charges: I've never owned a smartphone before, but I was conned into getting one by a savvy salesman at Alltel (thats the way they are) who conveniently passed up the normal phones and forgot to mention that I was eligible for those as well. I purchased a computer from Publishers Clearing house. When it arrived I went to set it up and the face was loose off the front of the tower, I set it up and the monitor light went solid yellow. This computer freezes at least once a day, and thats a good day!! The norm is two or three times a day. My Toshiba laptop has Vista Home Prem too and never misses a beat. I don't believe Windows 7 will fix it. It must be the HP motherboard design that makes this an unstable system. I loose work constantly with this pc. It seems to be particularly bad anytime you try to save a file to the hard drive or thumb drive; it freezes during the save. The only option is to reboot.
