Dell India is known to be very tardy in product support. The problem is that the Company does not beleive in retail marketing of spares and one always has to contact the call centre for buying spares/addressing any issues. I ordered a GPS holder and they sent the wrong size. They would not send the right size unless I pay shipping both ways. I sent the model number of the GPS and they still were not sure this would fit my GPS. They said I should measure it to see if it will work. I lost my phone in a taxi when I called the company, I was told they would look for the phone but chances ofrecovery of an item left in the back of a cab were slim. After the first day convinced I would not recover the phone I filed a claim with Asurion for the replacement of the phone. I bought a HP laptop in April and keep crash for the last few weeks. I sent it in for repair and the customer service rep at HP said his tech said I spilled liquid on the keyboard and it would cost over $300 to fix. I did not spill anything, infact, I only use a dry cloth to clean my laptop.
