The 7280 that I purchased is not visible to my laptop even after the CD install. I spent over 5 hours with India and 2 different techs without any success. I have another printer (Epson) that i installed in less than 5 minutes, so itis not my system. I also contacted HP customer service and the advice they gave me was to do a removal and a reinstall. After i told them that i had done that 4 times prior, i heard nothing more from them. On November 28th my wife and I purchased a cell phone for our son and put it on our existing account. The Salesman said there was a rebate offer and gave us the paperwork. I purchased this unit about six months ago. I can't say that I'm very impressed at this point. Of course, everyone I hand it to says "wow - this is light!". I sure wish we had checked this website before we bought the Trutech TV/DVD player. The first one we got worked for about 6 months and then just stopped functioning one day. Fortunately, we had purchased the extended warranty. It took awhile to get the Target refund card, but we were able to get a second player. US is used as a transhipment point for our goods and the phones were stopped while passing US customs to its destination country, Trinidad and resent to China. Sent laptop 10/20/08. First week they denied they had it. Last several weeks have simply told me they "have no status". Turns out the reason they can't provide status is that they resend your equipment to an unknown third-party partner of theirs in a round-robin fashion (see their website partners section for an idea of the limited requirements to become a partner).
