A client emailed an 'accountant's copy transfer file' to me and when I tried to open it, I received a message that the file had been encrypted when it went to the intuit server. We did not send the file to the intuit server. The client saved the file on her system and subsequently emailed it to me. I cannot open the file without a password and intuit would not assist to resolve this issue without a paid support plan. Essentially, the software created the problem and will not assist in resolution without additional payment for support. I can't believe H&R Block can be so insensitive as to air an ad that shows people half bald with their hair coming out in handfuls. As the wife of a man approaching chemotherapy and having been exposed to family memebers after chemo, and their hair coming out by the handful, I find this very annoying and insensitive. We have had the worst experience of our life with this installation. The technician was at our house from 1:45 to 10:00pm. Installation is still not complete. Wires hanging, internet cable cut(he admitted he accidentally did it), wrong receiver, wrong box, holes drilled, carpet pulled up, wire not tacked down, technician appeared disoriented & unskilled. However once you have paid, you download a zip file which is software from other companies which is free anyway, such as basic versions of limewire or emule. They mislead and rip everyone off! I ordered a movie from amazon and like so many others I got charged a $1, then a week later I was charged the 29.95 also. There is no mention of the fee in fact when I went back on to check after talking with the sales rep, I found where they supposedly tell you about the fee. It's in a flashing red box on the side of the screen where the ads were. It looks like an ad and has a different name, so people aren't aware.
