Seven days after purchasing over $2500.00 worth of furniture, this company advertised a sale on the items I bought, but refused to give me the sale price because the furniture had already been delivered two days before the sale began. The salesperson told me that the items I purchased were at their lowest price! Imagine my frustration when I saw the ad. Another problem is that each Ashley store is individually owned so the corporate office reports they have no control over a specific stores policies! I called this contractor to repair a garage door. Upon receiving the bill, I questioned an item titled, "Service Call - $95." I asked what this was. Randy told me it was for a preliminary visit to ascertain what exactly needed to be done to repair the door. Upon my telling him this was unprofessional bill padding, Randy began to argue with me aggressively. He was terribly rude and disrespectful. A simple one-hour door repair grew to an inflated $300. We hired Texas Best Roofing to replace our roof. The original quote as aprox. $8600. After the roofer consulted with Texas Windstorm it was realized that we needed 30yr shingle instead of the 20yr shingles quoted. So the roofer raised the quote and we agreed to aprox. $9700. Then once the roof was nearing completion he returned with a supplemented amount to the sum of $3300 additional. I have not areed to that and paid the aprox. $9700. They make it very difficult to cancel their alarm monitoring contract. I sent in a letter 5 times according to their instructions and they kept rejecting it until the contract automatically renewed for a whole extra year. I am a employee of the City of Red Deer. During the month of November and some days in December the company named Safeguard Safety was working on a project at the waste treatment plant. Purchased top of the line LG frontloader from HHGregg (along with 15k of other appliances) and purchased the 5 yr extended warranty on ALL of the appliances. The LG washer broke, called GE service Protection plan, sent a contractor out, which said I needed a new motor and that is covered under LG's warranty and the part must come from LG. I have resided at Gramercy Park Condos since 2007. I resigned a year lease in August of 2008 for my 2 bedroom condo. In 2007 my roommate and I experience a large leak in the guest bathroom above the bathtub. Water was streaming through the ceiling causing a large sag in the sheetrock. First I was sick one night my wife called them three hours before my shift to tell them I will not be coming in and she was threaten that I would be marked as no call no show and terminated. Back in October 2008, I had a granite counter top installed and noticed shortly after the counter top was installed that the cook top was cut off center from the microwave above and stove below. This company fitted a Propane Gas fire for me in April 2007. The fire was not used only for a 2 minute test when Chimeneas Marbella finished the job.
