I was told I could cancel before June 6 of 2009 (which is also on my contract)as they wanted to promote there services because we were in a new subdivison and my home was on a corner lot. Contractor failed to pay invoice for labor and materials provided by a subcontractor to a home he was building for a customer here in Flagstaff. Contractor has been contacted many times and has made no attempt what so ever to settle his debt. JMR Express Moving was hired by my mother to move my her furniture into storage and then to her residence. They assured us their workers were professional and experienced. I bought a Guildcraft couch and ottoman and they are of really poor quality. The couch came with throw pillows with tassels and they came apart weeks after I bought it. I am on the third set of pillows (they did send replacements) and they are still coming either apart or completely off the pillow. I'm a general contractor and I have been signed up with Reliable Remodeler for a 2-1/2 years. I have accepted about 10 leads which I have to pay for each time plus a monthly fee. They say on there web site that they send out leads up to four contractors. In the 2-1/2 years I have been signed up with them I had one call back, two hang ups just after I gave my name and most never called back. I signed up to be on their prefered contractor list for Bank work on repo's...Was told that they had many weeks/months of backlog due to economy. Many details were disclosed yet were not followed through on. I have left many, many messages for Noah Buckles the owner/manager...NO RESPONSE at all. Bought a recliner in October in November it was peeling the leather finish, similar to the way ford trucks peeled the paint in the 1980's do to bad primer. After reading these complaints, I am shocked that Sears has not recalled this range. The same exact issue happened to my family - our Kenmore oven coil started on fire after I turned the oven on to back some bread. The light was bright and white and the flame followed around the coil at the bottom of the oven. Luckily, I was the one this happened to...and not one of the kids. Sears makes another frequent shopper unhappy and I vow to never purchase anything from Sears again. It's sad when your reps can't even handle a complaint call. On June 16, 2008 I bought a magazine subscription from 2 girls selling magazines in order to win a trip. I paid $50 by Check for the subscription. It has been 6 months and I have never received any magazines. I have called the so-called company and I get a recording that states all representatives are busy and to leave my name, address, phone number, email address, and receipt number and someone will get back to me the following day. I wonder why I couldn't just stay on the line and wait for the next available representative? I lived in London On., signed a rate protection plan with UNIVERSAL ENERGY of 43 cent/kWh. After two months, another representative came and helped in lower the rate to 39 cents/kWh and signed a new contract with me. 5 year old Kenmore range oven has problems lighting, smells lioke gas and then lights with a loud boom. Has been happening for a year. Now all of a sudden it smells like something is burning inside the unit. I called Sears to have someone come out immediately as we are dealing with gas and electricity. Purchases GE Profile Wahser year ago. Thougght I was upgrading by purchasing a Profile appliance. Mother Board went 1 year and 1 month after purchase. Purchased $3700 bedroom set. 4 pcs arrived, 3 were damaged one of the 3 made incorrectly from manufacturer with bubbling of the finish and peeling of the paint. Waited a week for service. The problem started in August 28, 2007 when I approved for a GE Money Bank credit card to purchase a Stearns and Foster Queen Plaza mattress from Sleepy's. Had a new roof installed after hurricane Katrina. Shortly after I noticed a small leak develop in the dining room. Mr. Morgan came and attempted to fix the leak. I purchased a metal table with acid finish from Kolkka 4-5 years ago. This is an extremely high end manufacturer and we paid thousands for the table. Unfortunately, over the years, the table has become discolored where food/drink has come in contact with the acid finish. Very unsatisfied with J&B HomeCrafters. Rarely were they seen on the home site(s) to regulate the most important details of the home construction process. Construction problems would often compound. Very little concern for quality standards from subcontractors. They did not totally fulfill contractional agreements, VERY unorganized business practices.
