In December of 2006, right around Christmas, our sump pump quit and we had about two inches of water in our basement. We hired Snake and Rooter to come out and fix it. As it turns out, the cord to the sump pump had wrapped itself around the pump and prevented it from working. The plumber from Snake & Rooter told us that the pump still worked and mentioned that now would be a good time to replace the pump as you never know when it will go bad. I employed the services of a fencing company known as The Fence Doctor or All Fence Doctor to replace my boundary fence that had blown down. Part of the agreement with this company was that they would also remove the old fencing. I have experienced an even worse situation involving the Hank's Fine Furniture store located in Sherwood, Arkansas. I have also been billed for this. They told me it was something I asked for on an online survey I took...I don't recall ever asking for this, and have never used it. I have called twice and been told my AT&T acct would be credited. As of now (4 months after the first call) it has NOT been done. I talked to AT&T and they won't remove the billing. I am furious over this. I don't think ANY company should be allowed to add any kind of a charge to any ones acct. that is not Approved by the person responsible for the acct. I was amazed to see how many people have had this problem with their Kenmore oven. This Christmas almost proved to be the last one for me, my husband, and son. I was up late preparing Christmas dinner for our family. I had spent 3 days thawing, brining, and getting a 20 pound turkey ready for baking. Purchased a New Maytag Washer, Dryer, Frig, and the Range unit listed above. The Washer's transmission went out after 14 months. It was maytags industrial model. Paid $75 to replace the transmission in it and now a year later its out again.
