My husband and I purchased a dining room table from Hanks a few weeks ago. We were told the table would have to be shipped in, and we could pick it up on Wednesday of the next week. After one year and eight months the burnners are burned thru. Called cust. service to see about the warranty and was advised that it was 10 years on the burners and they would replace then after I faxed them the reciept with a shippingcharge OF JUST $29.95 they would be on the way. Do not use this company! Unique Landscaping had nothing but excuses to offer after they tore up my lawn and planted bushes that promptly died. The contract I signed last September was for landscaping, rip up of front lawn and reseed, and a guarantee for one full year on all plants used. OK, we went to the Sears Outlet store in Franklin Mills, PA and bought a new range. It was a few hours from home, but we thought that Sears was a national store and that if there was a problem with it, we could return it locally. The price was OK, not great. I have automatic payments set-up for my pier one account and this past month there was a problem on behalf of my bank, wamu. Do not buy this dishwasher. We purchased a new one in 2006 and it has had many repairs (parts replacements) since then. The repairs have been free so far even after waranty expiration date however that's due to parts issues. We purchased a Natural mattress 1 1/2 yrs. ago from Sleepy's. Tried it for a couple weeks, and hated it. Too soft. My heater broke down. Called HMS. a technician came and said the blower was blown out. Needed approval from HMS to carry on. HMS denied the claim on the basis that I had not been maintaining the heating unit as required. I protested but with no avail. I believed that I had been ripped off by H.M.S. This company offered a free roof inspection. After the inspection the "roof inpector" stated that my roof was so badly damaged he was "afraid" to walk on it. Add another vistim of a dishonest building contractor Adam Charles of Home Rehabs & Remodeling. Adam Charles has abandoned a master bathroom remodel job started in Oct 2008.
