The security system stopped working, the alarm would sound off and no one would call to verify everything was okay. Vector continues to take money out of my account every month to monitor the alarm and was not doing so. Vector sent a tech out who fixed their equipment. Vector is now billing me for them fixing there equipment, while taking the monthly charge out of my account monthly... on time. I don't understand, there equipment does not work and I am charged to fiv it, I am changed and pay every month for services I was not receiving. We too are sorry to have used TCH. It has been 1 year since the completion of our home, and so many times I wished we had checked into the company more than we did. They DID go over the contract price because of THEIR inability to get an area over the fireplace the correct size. Also in the size of wire that was code. (They should have know this BEFORE hand) We have an electrical issue that was wrote on the final inspection- they wouldnt fix. CHEAP appliances. (We had to buy out of our pocket a new dishwasher and stove) HUGE gaps between boards on porches. We purchased a Blandford home in Gilbert and had no real problems for years. The first sign of trouble was when we went to replace the carpet in the living room with tile. Once the carpet was up and the slab laid bare, it was obvious that we had not just a cracked slab, but also one that appeared to be tilted downward like it was sinking into the ground. I bought a fridge 4 years ago, recently the fridge was not staying cool. A Sears repair man was to come out (he didn't even get out of his truck because the contractor was here to let him in not the homeowner). Had to reschedule. The second appointment he was over three hours late. 11/24/2008 We are filing a complaint with Semco Energy because we are very disturbed with their services. Upon recieving a dissconnection notice from them because we simply overlooked a bill, we promptly called the number on the notice, which said call right away. I wired money to their account but never recieved the product. They only responded to my emails at the very beginning confirming receipt of the money and apologizing for the delay. After a few months they stopped responding completely. The only way I could get a response from them is if I acted like a new customer interested in their product. I purchased a double tilt-out hamper from Home Decorators to use for recycling soda cans and newspapers. The dimensions of the hamper were listed as 27 high x 24 wide x 14 deep. My wife and I had some work done by Eric, the owner of Exterior Design. He gave us a price and collected our money quickly, but when it came to finishing the job, it took months! He spent most of his time away from the job site, talking on the phone, and generally not working. He's very good at making friends with his customers, which buys him more time. On a Saturday about two weeks ago my sewer main plugged up inside the pipe headed out to the street. I called Mark's Sewer and Drain to have them bring out their snake and clear the simple clog. When the guy got to my house he ran the snake for about 2 minutes before telling me that it wasn't a simple clog and would require about $1500 worth of repairs (to install a new clean out). Florida Water Testing mailed us a card asking to test the water in our home, my wife filled it out and mailed it back to them. This company called us twice and sent out cards thru the mail, with in a week a Mr. George A. Beltz came to our residence to test our water. I purchased a Kenmore Electric Range model 790 in 3-2006 and in Nov. 2008 my oven burn element coil shorted out and fell to bottom of oven. The coil melted through. Sears did not want to hear about this as we did not buy an extended warranty just the one year service. The coil also damaged the memory board that controls the oven.
