New Carrier AC Rooftop heating and cooling unit installed on our house in 2008. End of 2010 cooling season unit stopped working, found 3 pounds, (out of 9 pounds total), low on refrigerant. Leak is located in the Evaporator Coil. This is a "packeged" unit and comes from the factory tested and ready to run. The HVAC Service-Technician states that it is a slow leak, and will last thru this cooling season. It ran for 3 summers with no problems. Carrier Corp will replace the evaporator coil free, it is still in warranty, but the labor is $750. I believe Carrier Corp should pay for the labor. read full review »

Johnny Coleman builders in Southaven MS is the worst builder Ive ever came across. He never graded my backyard properly and now every time it rains i have a pond in my yard for a week. He put sand down to try to help the low spots but all it did was kill our lawn and pool up even more than before. Plumbers did some initial work and never showed up to finish the job. They left us waiting for more than a week not returning phone calls and making all kind of possible and imaginable excuse not to show up. Their work was also not clean with many debries left behind. I was on the phone with Neil Sanders and I think I heard him mumble something under his breath which shouldn't be repeated. He called me up out of the blue the other day to see if I was interested in selling another timeshare I owned. He was the rep I had at Alliance Title Service back in 09 and although it took a while to get paid, I had to listen to his rants and analogies that don't make much sense for weeks when I waited for my money. Last year we ordered an entire new house windows from the supplier that we purchased the entire wood, etc. that it takes to build a new house. When we received the windows the roof wasn't even on yet, our contractor counted the screens but did not take them out of the two shipping boxes. When we opened the boxes recently due to the warm weather we found four of the large screens damaged. I was very excited to be purchasing a new Pella door. My new door was supposed to be installed this morning with a crew showing up between 8am - 10am. At 10:30 am we started calling. I have been hearing one excuse after another. It is now after 3pm and I still don't have a crew. I was issued an RGA to return excess materials my contractor ordered. The RGA was dated 12/22/2010. The company verified they received my goods and would be issuing a credit shortly. However, as of 5/12/2011 I still have not heard from the company. I have to add my complaints regarding the Husky 1800 psi power washer. My wife bought it for me at Home Depot about 3-4 years ago. It worked about 5 times before the wand began leaking like crazy! Bought furniture, 5 months later the recliner broke. Called service as it was to be a lifetime guarantee. They said they would call back to schedule an appointment. Never called back. I called to schedule an appointment. They said chair was sold as is and had no warranty. The salesman said that the chair was the last they had and there was a warranty. OK I'll get the chair fixed, but I'll never go to Kanes again. I should have read the reviews first. This seems to be the way they operate.
