Not sure what the other comment could be about. We moved to FXBG in May '09. We rented from Top Choice while working on a more permanent location. Ended up buying a foreclosure rather than building with Top Choice, but actually got insight from them regarding the value and options on that house with only minor work for them. Very responsive landlord and helpful contractor, even when it ended up that we didn't build a home with them. We've lived in 5 states over the past 30 years and do not recall a builder with such commitment to honesty and customer service. read full review »

A couple years ago my husband and I capped in a rate for oil. When that expired in June, I called SCASCO and told them to take me off automatic oil delivery until I was able to cap in a rate a few months later. About 2 weeks later we got oil delivered. We were on a budget paying $200.00 a month. Stay away from DCS, I have a 48" RGS-48GD "Professional" range, I don't see what professional would use it. The F*&^&* stove was 6500 dollars, more than most kitchens or a Kia, but if you look closely at the construction it's crap. Look closely at the the large oven door hinge at the bottom of the oven. The Door slides into a internal hinge mechanism. We bought a living room set and dining room set from RTG. They put a protective spray on the furniture that we did not order. The salesman lied and said we insisted on having it. The store mgr. was very rude and demeaning...very unprofessional and simply did not care. Customer service wouldn't do a thing and said they have a no return policy. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and within a couple of days they called and gave us a refund on the protective spray. We ordered our bed and bedbase on 11/15/09. We purchased the HB Backtex P1 mattress and HB wired sleep system base. Prior to delivery we received a call from the HealthyBack warehouse telling us there is a slight tear in the bedbase, but it's minor and they'll deliver it and replace it once a new one is received at the warehouse. SUMMARY: Peter Mugwagwa (Newcastle Masterbuilders) has lied to us and took over $7, 000 for new windows and will not return it. Other projects he completed on our home is much less than satisfactory and will not pass building inspection. Horrible people. They do not deliver on time. It took 4 months before they made a partial delivery. When they finally deliver, most of the parts were damaged and some were missing. They said paint chipping from the parts 'do not affect performance'. Edges of several pieces were damaged. We are still trying to get the missing parts. We ordered the bed 08/05/2009. I ordered a hot tub/spa on Aug 4th 2009. I was advised of a delevery of 8 wks (roughly Oct 4). As of this date, (Dec 28, 2009), I have yet to recieve my spa. Amerigas billing is in cubic feet to hide the real "HIGH" cost of their Propane. After you convert cubic feet to gallons, then you find the real price. I have been with 4 different propane company's. All but Amerigas give you the price per Gallons. After converting my bill to gallons. I have found that Amerigas is .90 to 1.00 a gallon higher than any other Propane company in my Area. I returned an ice maker for replacement or repair while still under warrany. Three weeks later they can't find it (it was delivered UPS, so there's proof), they won't return calls or respond to e-mails. They have no concept of customer service. The "so called technicians" did not even look like techs. They misdiagosed the problem, missed completely what the pool problem was and on top of that recommended an unnecessary repair. The local BBB has logged about 26 unresolved complaints largely for billing discrepancies and other problems. Took this people 3 visits to complete reseal and on top of that they did it wrong. I contracted to have an extension poured to my patio in order to install an awning. The concrete was supposed to be skreeted smooth. I paid before the job had dried. I noticed that there was a hole in the center of the concrete with dirt showing through. The surfaced had been brushed (poorly) and was not smooth. TXU sent me a bill for $490.90 for a home that I have managed and closed(sold) more tha ayear ago which I don't have the records anymore and I no longer work for that management companynd can no longer ask them to pay for this bill if there is any because after closing they asked to sign a contract that I can't any more utility payments 30 days after closing. Wallet missing after they worked on my furnance. I think they are ID thieves. Found other information on rip off report about this group after they visited my home. I was having my furnance tune up done for the winter. Frank Montfort "accidentally" knocked vent piping apart and tried to tape it together with electric tape. I have had several issues with this refrigerator. First of all someone in the home didnt close the door all the way and when that happens the refrigrator shuts off. Once this happened the ice began to melt in the ice maker and ran all over my new hardwood floor causing $2K worth of damage. I am a very dissatisfied customer. We purchased the Kenmore Elite Trio December 2004. We thought this was the best product until we started having to make service calls. We have had to call out service 6 or 7 times to include a major change out of coils and the compressor. Right now the day of Christmas the fridge is leaking and we are waiting for service. I first of all bought a Furnance (heating and cooling for over 5, 000. The first week of having it, it went out, several times, it had to be repaired the first month. The Sears company refused to give me another one even though it was requested several times. The Simmons Palm Cove Queen mattress I received on 11-15-09 is sagging on both sides; I have rotated the mattress as instructed; I am the only sleeper, weigh only 125 pounds.
