We bought a house built by Sellcrest Homes in June 2006. This builder built many of the homes in our subdivision. Others who have had problems, have not given him nearly as many chances as we have. I purchased a sink for $320 online from ManhattanInteriordesigns.com on November 15., 2010. The sink was too big when it was delivered so I returned it via UPS. Apparently, the owner of the company, Tamara, did not want to give me my money back so she told UPS they damaged it and they needed to pay for it. I have a product protection agreement on a kenmore refrigerator freezer. It malfunction on around December 23, 2010. I called for service on 12-24-10. I was told that service could not be provided until 12-29-10, between the hours of 8am-12pm. On 12-28-10 I received a confirmation for my appointment. On 12-29-10 after 10am I received a call saying that the repairman was unable to to provided me with service. I bought a Whirlpool Gold Cooktop model GLS3665RS01 in March 2010. In October it developed a problem with all five igniters continuously sparkling. The repair guys charged me $408.50 for all ignitors replacement but the Whirlpool refused to honor the 1 year warranty stating that the cooktop was "abused". I was WAY overcharged for a fall clean-up/ leaf removal! My yard is maybe an acre - but at least 1/3 is just brush. I was charged $625 for just cleaning up the leaves - another $85 for dumping the leaves (even though I indicated they could dump right in the wooded/brush area on my property) AND a cut @ $45. Buyers Beware!!! We bought a $400 Blanco double basin undermount sink from Homeperfect.com. Within a month of it being installed under our granite counters it began to rust! We contacted customer service, sent photos of the rusted sink and asked if this product was a knock off or just defective and what we can do. They took weeks to reply, were completely unhelpful and rude and basically told us we needed to remove the sink (would ruin the granite & cost thousands of $$$$) no offer of a discount refund or anything. Accurate Airconditioning is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with (we had to use them because of a Home Warranty). The first time they came out, they told us our unit was frozen and they couldn't do anything. They couldn't deliver my furniture on Friday asked if could deliver Sunday. The community does not allow delivers on Sunday. They reschedule to deliver the following sunday again. I worked several properties for Assured Asset in the Palmdale area. Before giving the amount of properties that Robyn promised me, which was a complete lie, I had to sign a 15 page agreement which basically gave away all my rights and gave Assured Asset the ability to not pay me for whatever reason they saw fit. Our water heater broke and Douglas (no last name given) was called. He came in and we indicated that not only did we not have hot water but we had leaks coming from the heater. Douglas evaluated the problem and noted that all that was necessary was a new thermostat. He quoted $300. On Novmeber 5th I received an LG Dishwasher from the Brick. On or about May of this year the motor started to make noise that you could not hear yourself talk.
