I am very dissatified with my dealings with J K Behan Roofing in Melbourne, Fl. They seemed OK but the bottom line is that I find them not to be the type of company I would ever recommend to anyone. They do business out of a side street operation off EauGallie where service is far from what is expected. I find them to be unethical, underhanded and ultimately a company that I do not recommend. Paid for flooring products one day. Returned the next day to pick up 34 cases of flooring. This was after receiving a phone call that morning that the flooring was ready to pick up. Installed windows and wrecked our flooring and the exterior of the house and will not warranty the windows $15 to $20, 000 worth of damage - Atendra Prakash will not talk to us, he lied and said to his insurance c0mpany that his installation crew did not do anything, we just had brand new flooring installed - not even a month old. An Amish contractor, all work was done by a non-English speaking crew from Central America. The roof is on crooked: There is a two inch overhang over the entry door, while 44 feet away the shingles are flush with the gutter's drip edge. From that end of the house the gutters jut Pagoda like on either side of the garage, while from the front of the house it looks like a rolled eave from the 1930's. When it arrived, it was discovered that the wrong sized headboard had been ordered. 3 weeks later we got our delivery. 2 of the 6 pieces were so damaged they would not deliver them. We purchased a new GE Profile refrigerator in July 2006 based on Consumer Reports recommendation. This units has experienced chronic repititive failures. Initially we were told that an "ice ball kit" had to be installed. Then the motherboard failed. Then another 6 motherboards. Then a thermister. I called Mr. Rooter, 230 Bank Street, Midland Park, NJ 07432 to clear four underground gutter drains and one drain in the driveway. The quote was $732.00 for the first tow hours and approximatly $350.oo for each additional hours. Thinking this was a reasonable price for clearing five drains, I agreed. If you a buy a new home make sure you double check all the details. like the carpet paddding is what you bouht and paid for make them show you. They may say it is so we bought new and afteer doing this they told us they made a mistake and did replace but we had already bought new. The Ge appliances are not worth the price buy your own. When I got home I was not happy at all with the color and took it back the mgr exchanged for the right color and said the rebate would still apply.
