We have a new home with Alside windows installed by the builder. They leak so much cold air that we can't even sit by them because of the amount of cold air that infiltrates thru the window frame. We have frost and ice on the inside of our window frames almost all winter long. They will not return my email messages so we can set up a time for them to come out and look at the problem. We are getting very frustrated by their lack of cooperation. Had tile installed on bathroom floor. Sone tile became craked and floor had soft spots. Called Mr handyman, they sent out a rep who gave an estimate of repairs of $3000.00 Insurance estimate was $2700.00 with $500. deductible. License plumber vcame out said toillet had not been replaced properly by Handyman. Wax ring was not properly re-installed, and toilet was not even bolted down. On July 17th 2009 I Purchased a 12 cup programable Mr Coffee coffee maker. Not six months later - I filled the coffee make with water and it drained all out at the bottom. I cleaned up the mess and took it over to the sink and tried filling it up again and the water drained out of the bottom. Called the service number due to the warranty and found out the closest repair facility was 180 miles away. I threw it in the garbage can and yesterday I purchased a Black and Dekker. I have been charged over £212 for gas and electrity from this company. They have never once read my meters and despite my contacting them and telling them that my property is empty during the day and that the gas is timed to come on for only 5hrs per day (turned back on end of October) as due to hot weather from April to October it was not necessary to have the gas on) they still insist that I have to pay this excessive bill and that they are going to approach my local court to have a pre-payment meter put in. I have a Kitchen Aid Concerean self cleaning stove that is four years old. Within the first year switches for the elements have failed. One has been replaced three times usually I have to call Sears and remind them of the repair. When replacing the element the service man broke the stove top. I waited a month for the replacement. I have called Fisher and Paykel to service my dishwasher. They gave me few numbers and one of them is A&E Factory service. A&E told me that they will see me in a week waiting from 1-5. On Nov. 24, 2009 my father had a plumbing emergency in his building and called Drain Rescue to help resolve his problem. My father is 87 years old and speaks broken English. The technician arrived and quoted a $4800 estimate to replace 30 ft. of cast iron pipe with newer pipe along with some new ABS drainpipe. I bought a pool from these people last year. I paid $300.00 to fill the pool and the liner split. They replaced the liner but when asked about reimbursement for the water they have done nothing but string us along. We haven't gotten any straight answers and basically they think if you ignore something long enough it will go away. They don't return calls and don't respond to emails. We have owned our Bosch range for four years. During the first year we noticed there was dust in between the glass in the oven door. There is no visible opening where we could see how it got in there and there is no way for us to access it to remove it. It's kooky looking and not what you want see as you check out the roast in the oven. The vendor referred us to Bosch and Bosch advised us to get an independent tech.
