On 11/01/09 I Reggie Herring was phoned by one of U-Hauls representatives during their closing hours informing me that I may have water damages to my storage. Monday November 02, 2009 I drove to the u-haul facility, and yes there was water damages to both of my storage bends. I spent the summer with a huge (the size of a semi) yellow spot on my front lawn after these people dumped a weed killer on it by mistake then would not take responsility for the mess. I purchased a sofa and coffee table from NFM paid cash and it was delivered June 18th 2009 . Sears ruined my Thanksgiving. My electric range broke, and it was an older Sears product so of course I called Sears to come fix it. I called, made the appointment, explained that I would not be home to meet the technician (it's a vacation home). The scheduler said no problem. I purchased 320 sq ft of shaw versalock flooring. this flooring would not lie down evenly as its locking system was defective. I proved this to be true by use of a micrometer and shaws own installation expert concurred with me that there is a problem with the flooring. I followed the instructions carefully. both sets. as there are two different sets of instructions with the flooring and yet a third on their website. shaws tech help line is useless and told me to put furniture on top of the imperfections to hide it. shaws ultimate position on this problem was "tough, you bought it, its yours". read full review »

I had Imagistone countertop resurfacing done on my kitchen countertops and have to say I am not pleased with the results. They spray a kind of a plastic coating over your existing countertops and it is supposed to look like granite. The finish is not smooth but is grainy and it is hard to get most stains out. I think it must be porous or something because you really have to scrub to get it clean. This company installed the tile floor in the kitchen an bathroom of an older home my husband & I purchased in late April, 2008. According to the individual we purchased the house from, he paid for the tile & concrete boards to be installed in the kitchen & that he work came with a 12 month warranty. I needed the water supply line coming from my wall to the toilet tank replaced. Because they said their line would not work with the shut-off valve I had, they also replaced it. It took the plumber all of 5 minutes to replace the line and valve and they charged me $371.00. After doing some research, I found the flexable water supply line for $10.oo and the shut-off valve for $5.00. While there was a $60.00 dispatch charge, adding that up with the cost of the supplies is $75.00. Are you telling me that plumbers are making $296.00 an hour now?! After numerous phone calls, threats and 40 days, I finally received a refund from ADT for a cancelled installation. They responded to a letter from the Better Business Bureau and a refund was issued almost immediately. I hired a contractor” Hajder Service and Construction “to install drywall, tape and texture. Did not drywall the beams so the tape and texture is buckling and the end to the wall is messy and not clean. Did not tape and texture under the light..just sheet rocks expose. There are some gaps between the beams that should be enclosed by sheet rock. The workers used my lamps to see what they were doing, even though I told them they need light where the work it to be done. The salesperson ordered the wrong set of furniture and to have the correct set delivered we are being asked to pay a restocking fee of $209.99 plus a redelivery fee of $199. The salesperson will not admit that she made a mistake and has so far returned each and every call to our home number, knowing full well that my husband and I work full time and both have cell phones. When we used their conpany for landscaping, our neighbors complained that they were cutting rocks on their property and made large cracks on their driveway, and also parking their equipment and vehicles on their property .Evidently, they made a big mess but just left it there. now, the neighbors are saying when they fix the big cracks and messes on their property, they will make us pay the bill. We spent $1500 on a glass top slide in Kenmore Elite range. The oven was used only 3 years when we started getting error messages when we tried to turn it on. We called an appliance guy out to check it and apparently the self cleaning oven feature burns out some of the sensors. He said that he is seeing this quite often with kenmore and whirlpool. Work commenced February 2009. Concrete re-surfacing performed by All Concrete Coatings is very poor workmanship, breaking up, discolored greatlty from one area to the other, did not provide joint sealant on all joints, those not with joint sealant are covered over with concrete coating now breaking up. Warranty does not apply to any of this as well as nothing covered under warranty by company. Went to BBB and filed complaint. No resolution reached by BBB, All concrete Coating and myself.
