Stainless steel posts have corroded to point where base plate welds have broken. On oceanfront and have informed them of problem of salt and no drain hole for base plate. Initially stated they would fix but then decided problem was ours. Stated chlorine from pool water was the problem and would cancel any warranty. Never stated this nor in their warranty. Hard to believe pool water would do this. Also welds breaking on locations away from pool area. They know they have a problem but are trying to get out of rectifying. As someone else mentioned regarding house furniture website - they lure in you from craiglist - they don't say they're a dealer. They direct you to their website, where the price is too good, delivery is too cheap - only $100 for white glove service, so why pickup if you're a couple hours away from where they SAY they're located. The Park's Furniture store and location (in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) are gross!! The furniture selection is redudant and unimpressive. The prices are unreasonable - way over priced, even the banged up floor models. The staff were condescending, arrogant and unhelpful. They were unreasonable and did not make any effort to provide good customer service. They didn't even attempt to hide their lack of care to help their clients. I recently had sears home comfort upgrade my furnace, water tank and A/C. The A/C unit was a display model open box thereby reducing the cost about $400 dollars which was supposed to have been used to improve the duct work in my basement. I contracted with Ruperts Home Improvement, Rupert Smart, to install a new roof on my home on 5/1/09. I gave the company half the cost for the roof, $4, 372.00 plus $475 for the disposal bin.
