Whatever you do, do not shop at The Door Store if you actually want to receive the furniture you purchase. I purchased furniture from the store 14 weeks ago and have yet to receive the furniture. I was told that all items were in stock except for the dining table, which was backordered 4-6 weeks. After 4 weeks I called to receive an estimate about when to expect delivery and was told that not only was the table backordered but the dressers were, as well. The couch the springs are coming through along with iron along the creases. I have called twice with no response. I have spoken with a store manager who has given a number that no one has returned my calls. He also made it very difficult to get that number. This company advertises low cost metal carports, collects a deposit of $70.00 or more, then denies refunds when their third-party installers fail to appear to deliver and install the carport. They claim the deposit is non-refundable, regardless of consumer protection laws. I paid the deposit thru Paypal using my Amex card. Inhouse offers free checkup for AC and heater twice a year. All they do is come and check if it is cooling/heating (which we can do). If something is wrong then we should pay $45 for trip charge. This does not make sense, whats the point of free checkups. I have warranty from this company from more than 3 years. Refrigerant has been leaking somewhere and they are not finding the real problem. We have a Whirlpool 25 cuft side by side with the ice dispenser in the door. Power was off for a period, and the ice in the bucket began to thaw. It then ran down the shaft that turns the dispenser bar into the motor. Cost for repair was $183. When the tech broght the new part (and this can also be found on line that there is a new part number for replacement) the motor was identical. They tracked the package and it took three weeks to investigate it and deliver the Cable Modem and the router. So it ended up installing my service on Aug29. I sent out my rebate on Oct29 since I need to keep my comcast active for two months and send it out with 90 days of the order. Only Oct29 is the valid date for me to send it out and I have no choice. Today we made a claim as our garage was broken into last night. I don't have much to say about the quality of the house (seems good to me), but I confirm that THEY WILL NEVER FIX YOUR house even if still under the warranty period. The only way to reach them is through email and they will never reply to you. On Sept3, 2009 Dryview Window Restoration applied their restoration fix for fogging windows and doors. They did the repair on 9 window panes and one patio door the Technician, Erin explained that it would take about 6 weeks for the windows and door to become completely clear.
