I had to visit Mexico for two days so i decided to book a room at this hotel. Biggest mistake ever. There comes a point where a hotel company either sells a hotel or renovates them. Days Inn sold this hotel which is in dire need of major renovations. Everything is old, barely working. A/C took a few hours to turn on to get cooling, after being turned off by management. The floors were icky, thick carpet, the door barely shut. Just stay away. At least management was nice when i had to book in and out. The breakfast was small and useless. As a pilot, I spend a lot of nights in hotels. Indeed, since 1995 I've spent literally thousands of nights in hotel rooms. This stay rates in the top two in terms of negative experiences. The hotel was hosting a party in its ballroom. In September 2007, I received a membership package from Cheaptrips. After reviewing what it was offering, I decided it would not be feasible to keep the membership so I called within the 30 day time frame to have my credit card credited and was told to send my request in writing which I did immediately. I had to google this to see what it was as I'd never heard of it before and then I came across this site with other people in the same boat.
