These people moved their business without notifying customers. When I purchased 2 services I went to their facilities to ensure cleanliness & professionalism. When I went for the service it was closed. I called their 800 # in NY and they informed me they had moved. The new place is a dump. Dirty and unprofessional. So I just found out that 5/3 has put a Permanent block on my equity line, This is after I paid it off on January (over $1500. pay off) 28th then they charged me another $14.08 which I did not know about until it was over 30 days late. I did get the late charge taken off but still they will not remove the block after being a customer with them for over 10 years they treat me this way over a $14.08 charge that I did not know about. Another reviewer on this site said Assurant is a joke. I agree. We purchased extended service contracts for our kitchen appliances in 2007 through this company. We called to report a problem with our dish washer in Oct 2010 and they never called back to schedule an appointment after making multiple calls. I worked for a company for almost 2 years that used ADP for their payroll services and with ADP's inconsistencies and errors, I am having to deal with the problems of the financial inconsistencies because they did not take out enough state taxes of my paycheck and every second and third check I received they did not even take out state taxes at all. I was a regular Fairfax Cleaners customer for over two years until recently. Unfortunately, their business practices have slowly gotten worse. At no time, did I see this charge on the website nor did I see the charge on my invoice that was emailed to me. When purchasing an extended warranty for our used veh we went with Direct Buy Auto Warranty. A $500.00 gas card was offered as an incentative to pay the full premium up front. We were told we would get the gas card in approximately 4 months. I did a follow up on the offer today and found out the gas card is issued after our warranty expires. In our case that is 5 years from now! Shame on them. I can on guess how many gas cards are returned because people move and they do not receive updated information. Buyer Beware. I was a member for three years. The facility was nasty - water leakage and mold in the track area. musty smell. They painted the ceiling tiles in the lobby to hide water leakage stains. When I went to cancel at the end of my three years they ran me through worthless hoops in order to do so. I purchased a Black Body Magic Body Shaper size 38. That is the size the distributor said I needed. I can't even begin to get the ting on (too small). I even tried to unsnap all of the closures to see if I would be able to acquire additional room. Once the closures were unsnapped you can't even get them to stay closed again.
