Last October of 2009 I started making a series of five payments to National Publishers Exchange in the amount of $78.98 for a device called a Medical Alert. I was on a Sears website and purchased a Table from Sears.com. After my credit card had been credited, Sears informed me that I had bought the table from Cymax. The table arrived timely, but the marbletopwas mared. I sent both cymax and Sears a picture of the problem. Cymax would not acknowledge receipt of the picture. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Their service Technicians are polite but have no knowledge of their jobs. The company never ever keeps an appointment. They always call and cancel during the time your tech should be at your home giving you service. I have had appointments from 8-12 (mornings) and they always call between 10:30 and 11:30 am and give a reason why they must reschedule your appointment. We had purchased a machine a through a typical $1 buy out lease. The financing company was De Lage Landen. When I hit 48 payments they kept sending me payment due notices. I called and told them I had made all 48 pmts, and had check stubs to prove it, no they said I owed 2 more payments. I signed up for a trial version of this companies software on 8/20 as it was the only way to see how it worked. I looked at it for 1 day and then forgot about it. On 9/20 they billed my card for almost $400. I asked for a refund and they refused, even though I never used it, they never reminded me that my trial was about to end and that I would be charged, and I contacted them as soon as I received their ridiculous bill. I hired thru Odesk a provider with raving reviews and lots of work hours. He wanted payment by PayPal and I paid him and he wanted more later but provided no proof of work. They have made multiple and continuing errors in filing my billing claims (I am a psychologist). Some claims are paid, many are not. When I call to try and straighten out problems, my call is sent to a foreign call center (various countries), with resulting difficulties in mutual language comprehension plus the foreign service reps are not able to take any questions that aren't on their "menu". I don't think it should be legal for a healthcare insurance company to use a foreign call center because of the complex nature of questions to be understand and addressed. We visited Knysna and was quite impressed when we visited Timber Village. Eventually we bought some furniture. Up to this point all went well. I had asked for my appliance to be delivered to me around 11:15 as I had organised someone to be home especially to recieve the delivery. I purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe 2003 in 2008 with 30, 000 miles on it. I am faithful to routine maintenace on it, but also because of my warrenty coverage. I ordered this product, with the understanding that it was a free trial. There were two products. One was a cleansing product, shipping fee, $1.95. It arrived (60 pills) some 5 days later. I purchased iolo System Mechanic 9.5 to replace Norton System Works 2008, after reading many reviews (apparently old reviews). I did not recieve the credit report, only the score and a day later was shocked to find that this company had withdrawn $68.73 from my account without my permisson.There was no information on this site and there was no fine print that said i would be charged this amount ever!! I paid over $500 for a hotel room at the Hyatt Regency in Washington DC. The toilet didn't flush. I complained and was told they'd give me a $50 food and beverage credit - except I only has a $27.00 food and beverage bill. I was told I should have complained at midnight when I finally went to my room - they would have moved me. AT MIDNIGHT - in a sold out hotel - when I had a flight at 7:00 AM. I find it stunning that a hotel the supposed quality of Hyatt Regency had broken toilets. Well, at the end of 2009 I started being harassed by magazine agencies offering "gifts" in return for fees. This old scam seems to work like this. They record your conversation and every time you say yes or something similar, you are agreeing to pay for something. I will even go as far as saying they will save and edit these recordings to further scam you, but that is a theory.
