This was by far the worst experience buying glasses I have ever had! The lenses kept falling out of my gallses and when I returned to the store, I was told the lens was made too small and that they would have to order a new lens and that it would take one week to be made and shipped back to the store. I represent many consumers. I am a single mother who got laid off. I applied for foodstamps online. The notice was printed out on 8/18. The Envelop was stamped on 8/19. I received the letter on 8/21 at 300pm(The time the mailperson drives by). In the letter of notice I, there was a phone interview for the competion of the application. They claim that I have a debt with Capital One, But I have never had a Capital One account as verified with Capital One directly even confrenced them in to hear this. They (riddle) also claims that they will send proof of this debt and have claimed to have sent it 5 times over the past 6 months yet nothing ever arrives. They call me 1-2 times a day and when i answer they prompt me to an automated system that hangs up when i press 0. I contacted this company for various projects in my apartment. The alleged owner, Christopher Purnell came to my apt. and explained his business model. In short, he charges for his estimates. The owner of this company should be jailed. I unwittingly paid $75 for an estimate for a bathroom renovation. Owner Chris seemed professional and was to get back to me with a written estimate and layout ideas for my bathroom. The estimate fee was to be applied towards the job. J&K2 was solicited to install approximately 80sqft of granite countertop 102407. Owens Corning, you should be ashamed that you're allowing individuals and organizations to use pressure sales tactics to push your product and agenda. Horrible service. Owner was very rude. Doesn't honor contract. Asked for a $75 deposit to hold a wig for a cancer patient and promised me a refund if I chose not to purchase it. I called her back 2 hours later and she said she would return my check. However, when I checked my bank, she had cashed my check and told me it was a consulting fee. How awful is that? We placed a custom order with Enduro in October 2006 for $1800+ worth of racing wheels. It was to take 2-3 months for them to arrive. 6 months later, no wheels, several fake tracking numbers, and eventually they quit answering my phone calls and emails. After several BBB complaints, they promised a refund (at the 14 month mark) which they never delivered.
