I signed up for a free trial of this Acai essence. You have 10 days to cancel - my 10th day would have been Sat. - they are closed on Sat. I called first thing Mon. morning and they would not give me my $139.97 back. They said I should have called on Fri. to cancel. I was suppose to have been charged shipping cost of $4.95 and they charged my account $5.10. This is a rip-off and no way to do business. The website claimed that I would receive a free 7 day trial. It said in order to not be charged cancel before the 7 days are up. I ordered Psychology Today on the 21st of May and I didn’t receive it after 120 days. I called OMNI HORIZONS, INC. on the 22nd of September and I was told that they forgot to subscribe me to the magazine. They advised me to either wait for at least two more months or to cancel the prescription. I purchased a fiberglass hood for my car. The company making and supplying this part received a quotation from R&L for shipping this hood "collect". After the hood arrived, I received an invoice from R&L for $35.00 more than the quoted amount. There excuse was that I didn't have an account with them so it was going to cost more. What a crock. After being approved for a washer & dryer and delivered friday afternoon the delivery man hooked it all up and the washer would not turn on. A debt collection agency that abuses and threatens those they are collecting from. Threats like 'we have yous ssn, we will contact our lawyers' etc were terms used during contact. By law you have 30 days to dispute a debt in writing with any debt collector. Do not let them abuse you. I joined google adsense through the internet to try to make some money posting links for them. They called my home and tried to sell me other products which I rejected and said for $1.97 I would receive a kit to help me get started and an email within 24-48 hurs. I believe that I've been a victim of racial profiling by the sheriff's department. Twice in the last six months I was stopped in after leaving the Kohl's Department store for absolutely no reason! They told us that there would be no lock-in fee and claimed that we needed to give them a 1% "deposit, " to get the process started. JUST an FYI - Got scammed like the rest of the folks on here...Called my bank to appeal the charge ($83.17) and the bank refunded me when I gave them the number to SWM labs. Either appeal to the bank or credit/debit card company and get your refund. ALSO, cancel your debit card and get a new one (I know this is a hassle, but much better than this faulty company continuing to pull money out of your account or charge you). We called Burton out to our house and they came out the afternoon of Friday May 22, 2009. They found that the controller board that controls the fan for the furnace was bad. After much research here is what I found out... There is one company that sells your info to the Teeth Whitening companies such as Hydrolab for Ez Brite, and Advance Wellness, etc... I went to my bank, and they are disputing the charges with Visa... they would have to prove a signature for the orders... Internet IP addresses don't serve as a signature so matter how much the Companies threaten you with...(as they did me)...
