I have had a General Motors Mastercard for about 20 years. My interest rates have been average, and I have never defaulted on the card. Indeed I usually pay MORE than the minimum balance, paying in full when I can. Two months ago the company unilaterally cut my credit line in half. I didn't complain. However, this month the company increased the interest rate on the card to 30.99 percent! This is outrageous! In December of 2008, I had cheese samples while walking through the store. I also purchased a couple items from the store that I had for lunch. He told her that we had been forgotten on the prior mailing to notify of a future increase in prices and that since we weren’t notified, that they were going to give us a free bottle of toner. On my recent credit card statement dated 4-21-08, there's a charge by RSI Partners for $9.55. I have never heard of, nor used this company's services to have been charged by them. Upon further research of this company, I found over 100 complaints posted at an online consumer complaints website that lists RSI Partners as having fraudulently charged credit cards in the amount of $9.55 for "professional services."
