CIC*TRIPLE ADVANTAGEIRVINE
jolispapillons June 4, 2009
I have just realized that CIC*TRIPLE ADVANTAGEIRVINE has charged my card over $227.97 over the past 15 months. I agree that I should have been more on top of my credit card charges. but the title 'CIC*TRIPLE ADVANTAGEIRVINE' reads an aweful lot like a gas station charge that I was also seeing on my statement. It wasnt until today when I checked my statement that I saw that I had a charge on a card I have not used in the past month. The charge was for $15.88. I then googled the name and found this board and now I am furious. I... read full review »

Jim W June 4, 2009
Like all the rest, I fell for the same scam, and finally, last month reached the GAS REWARDS part of the deal, which was still charging me. I had managed to take care of SAFE SECURE and CONSUMER AUTO REWARDS, but only after they had charged me for consecutive and multiple charges. Now SAFE SECURE is back on my statement, and the phone number is always busy. read full review »

Fred June 4, 2009
This month I have been scammed out of $1100 on www.alibaba.com by a Gold Member. I have dealt and still deal with 2 genuine Alibaba sellers, so I do know that there are decent guys out there in China. The details of the name of the scam person I sent money to was Deyou Chen in Putian City, Fujian, China. The fradulent company was Xiamen Zhongpin Technology and they are no longer registered on Alibaba, but I am sure that they are still on there using some other name. Anyway, I have greatly analysed myself to see the signs that I... read full review »

The idea that it is a unsustainable pyramid scheme is interesting, since people sign up as free members. What can they be scamming you out of? In the classic pyramid scheme, the people at the bottom of the pyramid are paying the people above them (and no one is left to pay them). The last person referred still gets cash back on their shopping. They are out nothing. They are shopping at reputable retailers, paying the same price everyone else does, and getting rebates. I have compared the stores on their site with the same store... read full review »

Upon checking my bank account balance online, I found that I have been charged $1.95 in April, and $14.95 in May for "Easy Saver" on my debit card. When I called the bank, they gave me a phone number to call "Easy Saver." I received a voice mail the other day from someone advertising Turbocashlink.com. It is a "gift" site. I have heard of such websites before but i havent really heard a whole lot about them. I would almost have to assume this is some kind of scam, right? A few months ago, I paid textlinkpopularity.com US$800 for numerous PR 4 text links. Many weeks passed, and all I got was false promises they would deliver, and excuse after excuse. They asked me if I would agree to PR2 links instead. I didn't want to waste more time, so I agreed, but again many weeks passed and I got nothing but broken promises that the links would be completed. Mellow Mushroom
bkitty June 4, 2009
The manger/ our waiter charged a 18% gratity to our table. Being a server myself I understand the need of adding a gratuity to a large party. Usually when you feel you are deserving of a great tip and there are atleast 6 to 8 adults. Our party consisted of 5 adults and 2 children. One of which was an infant and the other a ten yr old. I have no problem paying a gratuity when it is well deserved. Our waiter ran by the table a couple of times and then gave us a check with his tip already on it. I was shocked. I asked if that was there policy and he sais yes we do that to all tables of 6 or more. I will not be going back to dine at mellow mushroom. read full review »

$288 worth of suits, dresses, slacks, blazers and blouses. Not one was pressed correctly. In fact, hems were popped and/or completely ripped open. Skirts were pressed folded, resulting in pointed sides. Pleats were not pressed at all; reason being pleats are difficult. The creases in the slacks were off centered and more than obvious. The lining in many pieces was bunched and wrinkled, creating a bumpy look in the slacks. There were dark spots on a burgundy dress that were not there when submitted. Magnavox 19" HDTV

I purchased a new Magnavox LCD TV (Model# 19MF337B/27 Serial # BZ5A0745330212) in April of 2008 from BEST BUY, of Annapolis, MD. I was naturally hoping to have years of trouble free use from the TV as Magnavox has a fine reputation. After approximately 1 year of trouble free service a problem with the TV developed. It has become extremely difficult to turn the unit on. It shuts itself off repeatedly and then turns back on for a few seconds This process can last up to 20 minutes each time the TV is turned on. Now the sound won't come on, even when the picture remains on. read full review »
