I think the FICA scoring system is a scam created for the credit card companies. Example; Me and my wife paid off and closed two credit card accounts, this was due to there high interest rate. We then opened a new account with lower rates and better benefits. By doing this it dropped our credit scores, so we get punished by your scoring system for doing the responsible thing with our money. I booked a one night stay through Marriott.com (not Expedia or Travelocity), and a week in advance of our arrival tried to cancel the reservation. I have learned that Marriott will not cancel online reservations any later than one day after the reservation is made. I spoke with reservation persons at both the Bethesda property and the national chain, and was told repeatedly that nothing could be done. This is the weirdest cancellation policy I've ever encountered in all my years of business travel (here and abroad). My doctor ordered a perscription for me to be filled at Walgreens. When I went to pick it up they only had part of the amount ordered. They charged me my co-pay of $25 and when I went to pick up the rest the next day they charged me another $25. A friend of mine had this same thing happen at CVS. When I contact my credit card company, I was alarmed to find that the customer service person immediately knew of the company and said that I probably signed a promotional offer of some kind without even realizing it.
