I was told a grant package would be shipped if I paid $3.95 for shipping. I agreed and gave my credit card number. I never received any information but discovered that they charged me for the $3.95 and in addition an additional charge of $59.96. This was duplicated the next month. I called for cancelation and a call center in India responded that they would not refund any charges over 7 days old. I am currently trying to get this refunded through Visa customer service. I placed an order on Jan. 24, 2009. They took my money (check card) on the 26th of Jan. I've called, emailed but never got the order despite promises, excuses and a coupon good for two days. I filed a claim with my bank and they are investigating. My husband called the Georgia State's Attorney and suggested we send a history of calls and emails so that they can investigate. Yes, I can admit it. I was scammed. I saw an advertisement with Opera and Dr. Oz on it and I went for it. It was supposed to be a free sample. I should have realized it then. If it was going to be free they wouldn’t need my credit card number. I was only supposed to be charge for the shipping $4.95. I went ahead and gave them my card number. I experienced a financial hardship one year ago this month and I contacted Countrywide Home Loans as soon as I felt I was going to have a problem. I sent two payments to clear up my default. My next payment was sent by the 15th of the month and then I received a letter stating that they intended to excellerate the loan because payment had not been received. Richard Pierce from Nationwide sent a fax out to us. It had the name "amanda hilton" and something to do with leads. I talked to RIchard all the while thinking this is not going to work, this is not going to work. I had a rental car without my permit realizing this could be a issue, I contacted my HOA asking for direction in regards to my situation. I was told by the HOA that if I was parked in resident space it didn't matter if permit was in window. The only way I would be towed is if resident complaint that I was in spot. We found a Mercedes that we liked for $4600, but the dealer was in a town 1.5 hours away. We asked them to bring the car to their Lancaster lot and as long as there wasn't anything major wrong with the car, we would take it. I purchased the Cleared for Takeoff software Series. This consisted of 20 disks with lessons for flight school on each disk. I was able to use disk 1 to 6 but after lesson 6 the software kept telling me I had to be registered to use the software. Surveyhead confirmed all my individual survey payments. However, when I requested the cashout, I was shocked to see, that they have rejected my cashout. They had not notified me the same, and I found out when I manually checked my account. When I contacted them, they replied back after multiple reminders. According to them, something is wrong with my account and that they cant say what. After taking money from individual survey companies, they are not paying us.
