Customer service is terrible. I ordered a phone on the 21st which is MLK day so I figured that by the end of the 22nd that they would have it shipped so I can get it 2 business days after I ordered it because I paid for 2 day shipping but for some reason because I used a different address from my credit cards billing address they couldn't verify in time to get it shipped the same day. I had purchased a Htc touch dual from mobile planet end of dec 07. After couple of weeks the charger port was not working properly. I called Mobile planet they said to return the phone to bloomington, IL, I did in feb 08. I was told by mobile planet that it would take 6 weeks to reapair. After 8 weeks no answer, i called them up and customer service returns amanda mailed me back saying it is on the way back after repair. I got a request for an Enermax 305series case for a new PC. Searched around on PriceWatch and found MIXPC with a good price and free shipping. Checked there rating before buying and figured I'd take a chance on someone new. Big Mistake! I received a tracking number and my case arrived in a speedy manner. I am a member of the Better Business Bureau and own online businesses. I signed up with this company (MegaGoods, Inc) who is also a member of the Better Business Bureau for a trial membership in order to see what type of products and prices they offered. After a three month trial membership I decided they were not a company I want to use for business and I sent them a cancelation notice. My experience with these people was similar that of blacbear(may 24 2000)...they shipped me one item out of 5 and when I called to complain they gave me the same routine...accusing me of trying to rip them off and calling me a thief( and this is all over a couple of $3 cold plates)...furthermore that woman overthere was extremly rude...this wasnt my first order from these people, but it is my last...BE WARNED, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR ORDER YOU WILL FIND OUT THESE PEOPLE ARNT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. read full review »

Ballys Total Fitness has provided me with a membership to a substandard facility. They have misrepresented their sevices to me as a paying customer for over 8 years.I first joined with 8 other people from work. We were using the facility exclusively to play racquetball. Ordered the Acai Berry Product Free Trial Offer...states you have 21 days to cancel if not satisfied. That is 21 days from the day you order, not the day you received the product...thereby only giving you really a good week or two to see if you are even satisfied with the product! Know that they will immediately upon the 21 days after you order the product...ding your account for the amount which in this case was approx. $87.00. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. Today, march 6th 2009, my wife went by Mike Brown Dealership with the concern of our tires being dry rotted. There is only 33, 000 miles on our vehicle. The dealership, before sending my wife to the man they used for tire warranty, warned her of his demeaner. Upon getting to this location and discussing with the man the problem he became rude and arrogant and refused to make the tires good. Trying to pass the buck back to the dealership. I placed an order 25 days ago. I received a confirmation the same day. They also charged my credit card that same day. I have heard nothing or seen nothing since. No merchandise! All attempts to contact the company have been futile. They no longer have a valid e-mail address and it is not possible to contact them by phone. My firm has bought a number of inexpensive computers from Midwest Micro. We order the computers...they show up. We have an extremely compentant MIS person here so we had never needed to call for any major support until recently. That is when I learned of how poorly this firm is managed and how unresponsive they are to customer complaints. On June 11th, 1999, I placed a phone order for a WorkzPro System. At $1712.95, this system with 12.9 gigabytes of hard drive, 32mb of video, 256mb RAM, and a DVD-ROM was a great bargain. I was told I would receive my system in 5 days. On June 23rd, I made my first status call and was told that it would be 5 more days. Ambit energy entices customers with low per killowatt usage fees and then gradually increases your monthly usage charges by "estimating" usage. With every monthy estimate the charges go up, in effect creating a new and higher usage average. These people are complete crooks, I will never deal with them again. I bought an SN25P system from them because if supported RAID, but it never worked properly. I returned it for another one which had the same flaw. Clearly the product had a design flaw. I requested a refund but they wouldnt' give me one. I would rate them much better except for the fact that when I tried to return a bad motherboard (Tyan 1590), I couldn't get anyone to respond to my emails or phone calls! Do not do it they are the worst people to deal with when you finally get you computer. when I received mine the motherboard did not work the sound card did not work and the ethernet card was faulty.
