I made a purchase on 12/26/08. I received a statement of my order and payment thru PayPal. I had sent 4 emails and two phone calls to TPW. On 1/05/09 I got an email from TPW, telling me it was on back order and it would be shipped from another warehouse and that I would receive the item in 4 or 5 business days. I have sent another email after that 4 or 5 days. I still have not received any response what so ever from TPW. You can either not get in touch with the companies, go to their website & cancel and it is ignored, or led to website that does not exist. Phone call received saying it was a promotion from Capital One for being a good customer. I would receive a gas card for $60.00. I agreed to this and than she went on and asked about a lot of other things . Which I did not agree to, the last thing was a coupon book for $29.95. This company shipped me 3 out of 16 lamps that were obviously damaged and not manufactured correctly. They have terrible follow up and customer service and are not truthful when responding to the better business buraue. They still owe me $615 after 9 months of going back and forth. My husband ordered a watch over the phone when we called bluefakes.com to ask a few questions about their product. They have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. All I can say is you better be happy with the watch you order if you are a United States buyer. I purchased the trail 10-day supply of Natural Acai Berry. On the terms of conditions they give an 800# (800-278-3620) to call to cancel membership within 14 days of placing order. However, when I call the 800# I get a constant busy signal for hours. When I finally get through, I receive a recording, stating "United Carrier Networks and Buyers United" and the call is disconnected. They claim for $3.88 you get a CD that never arrives. And you get so many days free trial which you never get. Rickenbacher Group has reported charges to credit bureau concerning bogus charges on a car I owned over 15 years ago. This is a new fraud operation designed to extract money from victims by working with towing, storage facilities and credit bureaus. Rickenbacher has their clients to look on their lots for any cars they trace to the last owner and claim towing and storage charges which Rickenbacher will then report to credit bureaus. I have reported this to the Texas Attorney General to investigate and I suggest other victims do the same in their home states. Color wheel has gone out 4 times since I purchased this set on 8-30-2006..Have called Sharp service requesting to purchase a new "color wheel" ...case # 4470299 and talked with "Keith" on 10-13-2008 and you can not just get the color wheel you have to purchase the entire unit at $1400-1800...which is close to what I paid for my set...all it takes to fix is some lubricant on the color wheel shaft and the set works perfect for 3-4 months. A CD was offered online for 1.98 shipping and handling fees. This was supposed to be a government grant search CD. You had to submit your Debit card or credit card to order the CD. Then a week later your charges were placed on your checking account for 69.98 which you did not authorize. This is a serious scam and is affecting a lot of people online. The United States Government should investigate this fully, and lock up these criminals promptly.
