This company is so slimy it's unbelievable. They have been harassing our company for two years with their telemarketing calls. We have made requests on the phone, via e-mail and via letter to place us on their do-not-call list; we have filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau. They do not care. I know this is how they operate because there are similar complaints filed with the BBB. A group of 4 of us rented an apartment at the Sutton Place Suites through Dan at Apartment Escapes. There is a railroad crossing in Pompano Beach Florida on Atlantic Blvd just West of I-95. The crossing has become very rough and traffic must slow considerably to cross it. Worse, there are metal plates that are shifting and some are rising so that their sides are exposed. I had to cancel a vacation because of work. I went to the travel agent and told them that we would not be able to go on the scheduled dates and asked what I needed to do to reschedule the trip. They informed me it would be a $100 penalty, but that I would have a year to take the trip. After about 8 months I went in to schedule my trip and found that the travel agent had never canceled my vacation so now I am out $880! I have called and go in to see what can be done. The owner of this business, Thor Johnson has a civil judgement against him for over $1000 for deceptive advertising and breach of contract. He has not paid this court judgement and is in default and subject to arrest. To date, 8/4/2008 he has ignored the court. I purchased a stair lift from Acorn Stair lifts. The chair lift required repair. I phoned Acorn to see who I should take the chair to.
