I am totally disgusted at this scam.. My husband was on a website, and this pop-up came up (husband said it didn't look like a regular pop-up as we have pop-up blocker) and asked him to scan for viruses.. This is not unusual as we have an antivirus program that asks us periodically to run a scan. My husband clicked on "scan now" thinking he was doing nothing wrong. I ordered a Fossil purse on December 26, 2008. I had a coupone for 15% off purses, excluding certain brands, which would be only 10% off. FOSSIL was NOT listed as one of the exclusions. I mailed in the required documents by the date necessary, Sept 29th to be precise, and have yet to receive the rebate check. I called the automated phone line and it stated that the check was mailed on Dec. 15, however I have yet to see it and the date is now Jan. 12. I received a 'replacement card' for my Home Depot card. The card came from Citi. $8k limit, interest rate 28.99% with 0% intro offer on purchases. I contacted Union Auto Body for them to paint a Brand New front bumper for my Mitsubishi Eclipse. the bumper came primed and sanded, pretty much all these guys had to do was spray it and clear coat it, tops it might have take 2-3 hours, I get the quote back through email for $400 dollars!!! I cracked the LCD screen on My 30GB Zune this is not covered by warranty so You have to choose someone else to repair and pay out of pocket OK. Somehow they managed to access my account and charge it $9.95 for three months (Nov 10, Dec 8, 2008 and Jan 8, 2009) before I caught up with them. Last year I had this company install window blinds. I attempted to open them eight months later and they wouldn't open. I call the company prior to Thanksgiving and they assured me that they would be fixed as the product was only eigth months old. This is in regards to a PDA I bought through DELL, (retail $642.00) less than two months ago. Based on conversations with the latter I was informed that their return warranty had expired therefore; I was redirected to the manufacturer.
