National Grant
I can't believe it. I just got a phone call from National Grant telling me that I qualify for a government grant, to go to requestagrant.com or call 202-683-1404. Needless to say I went to this site first and never went to theirs thank goodness. They said that there are thousands of dollars available and you need to go to the site or call to receive it. Then I Google it and find all these complaints. I am so thankful that I checked this first. SO, I've been working at Sears for a while now and lately I have not received a pay check. It's been almost a moth now and I still haven't got paid. Our manager has an attitude problem and since it's not her check she's been lazy about it. She was supposed to call her boss but she lies a lot so who knows! I was automatically enrolled in their membership even though I declined membership when I ordered 3 books from discountbooksale.com. An unauthorized $1 fee was immediately posted to my debit card, I assume for the membership fee. I was able to submit a complaint at smartsavingscenter.com and then to submit an online cancellation of the 'free' 7 day membership. Well my Mom did like the Jacket and it arrived in average time. However, I decided to purchase it from shop.com because it was the cheapest price and it was only the cheapest because of $10 off.
But they didn't mention that the $10 off that shows off in your cart is something that takes up to 45 days to process and won't shop up on your credit card bill until it's processed. So they give you the illusion it's right away, you even type in a coupon code, so now I get to wait till near the end of January to see if I need to complain to them a second time. read full review »

Colones Auto Rental
I entered a 8 day rental contract with Colones Auto Rental, and on the morning of the fourth day the car DIED on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. I promptly contacted Colones, told them of the situation and the location, and they assured me that they would send a tow truck and take care of the problem. They have subsequently charged me $750.00 for damage done to the car between the time I notified them and their retrieval of the automobile, and billed me for the full 8 days of rental! Free holday offer to my mother in law then she paid £290 on the promise of £150 back on arrival in turky . Now the company has sent information saying that due reasons outwith there control the holiday has to be cancelled and changed to another date in March .
Personaly i dont hold out much hope for this materialising as i smell a rat as it was meant to be a free holliday and now international vacations hold in there possetion £290 of my mother inlaws money. read full review »

I ordered 2 Visonik V123BP subwoofers back in July one was broke/damaged when shipped. I was charged for both. UPS picked up the damaged one on 8-23-05. I never received the replacement one or was my account credited. The phones suck and are shut off or something and I can't get back on the web site. What is with this? As far as invoice #, I don't have one because I never received any product from this company. I had made an online order from this company's website on 8/19/04 to purchase a Canon Pro1 digital camera. Later that day or on the next, we received a telephone call saying that the camera was not in stock, when in fact their website said it was in stock, and that they did not know when the camera would be available. My son was in the NICU Nov 30, 2006- December 6th, 2006. The balance was 0 in Novemeber 2007. and Now I just recieve another bill with charges of his NICU stay now stating we owe 92.22.
We don't pay anything for well visits for BCBS and he should only have 1 co-pay for $15.00 from a sick visit on 1-19-08.

100% thieves. I got my money back (eventually) but if not as persistent as I was, the will keep your $$.They sent me grey market product and charged me for US. Also $55.00 shipping for a $850.00 lens. I ended up keeping the lens and got a refund back for the overcharge and ALL of the shipping charge. How did I accomplish this? I wore then down. This company is an advance fee scam company. They buy lists from the credit bureau and offer you a personal loan. They then want you to pay "Insurance" up front. No legitimate loan companie requires this.

A few years ago, I bought a system from PC Importers. The monitor was shipped separately in a plain brown box, with barely any packing materials and no identifying label on the box. Plugged it in and smoke started pouring out. Called customer service, they said to ship it back to them and they would re-imburse me the shipping cost. I had two rebates from this place. Both purchases were made from Buy.com. One rebate was received after three and a half months. Another rebate has never been received in last one year. During this time, I have called them and sent emails. Email sent in March was replied in August. I have even moved and got my address changed in their system. But still no luck yet. I started receiving Prevention magazine a few months back and then they sent me a bill for subscription. I ignored it as I never ordered the magazine in the first place, not even as a free trial offer from anywhere.
Now last week, I received a letter from North Shore Agency(Collection Agency) for payment of Prevention magazine. Well, I don't want to pay for a thing I never ordered.
Now, since this morning I have tried to call the phone number given on the North Shore Agency letter to talk to these guys what is going on and no luck.
