I bought a rebuilt engine from US Engines and paid to have them install it. Total cost about $7000. It took longer than expected. When I put it in the water, the engine sounded normal at idle. When I increased the throttle to 1500 RPMs, it started making a funny sound and it had no power. We recently returned a leased vehichle and was surprised to learn we were going to be charged over 1, 000.00 dollars for a thumb impression on the bumper which was not readily visible. This was in addition to over 400.00 for cleaning. We were not given any credit for the car being 300 miles under allotment and with gas in the tank. We believe this is outrageous to have us pay to replace the full bumper for some thumb impression. I am pretty sure that they just pushed on the underside. We purchased a 7 year Platinum RV Service Contract from Hertage Administration Services, Inc., from the local RV dealer when the trailer was purchased new. I purchased Road Hazard Insurance on my leased Volkswagen Jetta. I hit a pot hole and the rim was bent causing the tire to lose air and have a flat. I pulled over because of the flat. This firm is a complete scam. I had a Subaru which only had its side doors and one front wheel damaged in a very slow collision accident. I had to use an authorized dealer to repair to keep the warranty, so they got the job. Instead of repairing it, they kept making up new excuses that there is something further wrong with the car. I recently went to VIP Auto with a quote from one of their competitors since VIP has a "Meet it or Beat it" price guarantee. VIP's guarantee is actually that they will beat any estimate by 5%. I leased a vehicle (2000 Mercedes SLK 230) from Fleetway Leasing in 12/2007. A few months later, I began experiencing severe back and leg pain and was diagnosed with sciatic nerve damage due to a herniated disc. I was no longer able to comfortably drive the vehicle. I purchased a used car from Luxury Autos Of Queens as well as an extended warranty. I brought my car in to have a specific problem with the cooling system addressed while still under warranty. Today is May 14, 2009 Purchased a 6Volt Optima Battery in March of 2007 for around 120 dollors. After 2 years the battery will not hold a charge. A couple of weeks ago I was in an accident with one of Geico's insured. Their insured tried to pass while I was turning left into my driveway. They claimed to have the part, they showed me a carfax for the engine that I was buying, we paid via paypal we got no confirmation or shipping information, nothing. The MinitLube at Calgary Crowfoot and Calgary 16th Ave continually attempt to upsell to items that are not required. They then proceed to not properly do the oil change. My household has been continually bombarded with telemarketing calls from these two company's for the past year or so. Have been a good customer for 8yrs, my car was taken out by someone, not my fault. It didn't look that bad as far as damages go, but USAA will claim a total loss in order to save themselves money. They will offer only half of your cars actual value knowing that the customers options are very limited, short of paying a lawyer more than what it's worth. I took my car back to NTB tire and battery shop, for them to fix the problem of my car vibration when you press on the brake, at least twice. The repairs that were made did not fix the proble it is still there. I paid and addition fee of $132.00 and the problem still remained the same. Midas Auto Service Experts did an oil change on my vehicle and approximately eight (8) days later I had no oil in my vehicle. Prior to this, my vehicle was in excellent running condition - it niw needs a NEW ENGINE. They also did a tune-up and messed that uo too - they did not see a clogged PCV valve. To whom it may Concern, If anyone is considering hiring a vehicle from Asco Car Hire, B-Mobile (now Asco ownership) and Value Car hire. I would advise you not to pay the full amount or to read the contract very carefully. The maximum insurance cover does not cover quite a few important items. If you do have an accident 90 % of the time they will find something that is not covered and bill you for it. Someone from everhart nissan told ceridian that I was not qualified for the 65% reduction. I do not know why they did this I called them and they denied doing it. On May 21, 2008 Rocket Paving installed an asphalt driveway at my residence. Upon completion of the job, I paid in full for their services and received a receipt with a 2 year guarantee in writing. This spring tree roots caused bulging of the pavement and the pavement is deteriorating in other areas.
