First let me say I was not ripped off. I ordered a phone, but they canceled my order and did not provide a reason (Probably out of stock). When I tried to find out why my order was canceled, I could not reach anyone by phone and nobody responded to my email inquiries. I tried for over a week. In all fairness, it was between 12/26 & 1/4. I have an issue with a warranty problem. I purchased an XMH10A on 12/26/2007 and immediately had it installed and activated on the same date. Approximately three weeks ago I noticed that each time I got out of the car, and then back in, the radio would default to channel 1 and would not hold any programmed stations. Purchased cell phones online from at&t and received 2 promo gas cards for $25 each from Sony Ericsson. I did receive the promo cards (I thank you) however, by the time they came in the mail and I got them activated (there was a delay throught the postal service) they were close to expiring and I did not get to use them. I purchased a 2009 antivirus protection on december 4th 2008 because my computer slowed down and I kept getting pop ups saying my computer was in danger of a virus. I paid 49.99 and registered. I thought nothing of it until i got my credit card statement a month later and i saw a charge for 49.83 and a 1.49 foreign transaction fee for cure-soft shop moscow russia. I knew something was not right so I got on the computer and found out I had been scammed. I had to cancel my credit card and get new ones with a different account number. Bad service! I ordered an LCD cable for a Compaq V2000 and they sent me the wrong cable. No big deal right? Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. I mailed in the required documents by the date necessary, Sept 29th to be precise, and have yet to receive the rebate check. I called the automated phone line and it stated that the check was mailed on Dec. 15, however I have yet to see it and the date is now Jan. 12. A couple of weeks ago we purchased three used golf carts from ELECTRIC CART WAREHOUSE. We picked the three we wanted from what they showed as being available on their web site. I cracked the LCD screen on My 30GB Zune this is not covered by warranty so You have to choose someone else to repair and pay out of pocket OK. I purchased a Camera last December and have returned 5 times for the same Lens Error. I get the same reply every time We could not observe any malfunction. I have an Acer Spire 9410. Mine also broke by the hinges. I called Acer and they said that they have not received any other complaints about this problem and they refuse to fix the proble. I bought from Circuit City and got an extended warranty to it. They are also getting away with it by saying that was abuse, not normal use. The normal use of a laptop is by opening and closing the lid when you are going to use it and put it away.
