I, too, am a victim of this so-called company's scam. I purchased what I thought was a nice boxed set (like one would buy in a store) only to receive home-made videos numbered by hand thrown into a plastic case, which I could have done myself. There were duplicates of some of the shows, so not all shows/seasons are included. Beginning of commercials "pop up" in the middle of the shows. I was away and missed paying some my bills at my vacation home for February, including my Cogeco cable bill. They made only one attempt to contact me by phone - when I was away. They then sent a "collector" who came at 8:30 pm and behaved rudely with my wife when I was at work, took away my modem and cable box, all this when I had already paid the overdue amount recently. All the other services I had "defaulted" in February merely called again to remind me (they did not need to, I paid all bills as soon as I was back). Sportbook.com is an on-line gambling site. I requested a check for my winnings. I had to fax my drivers license, social security to them and I received a check two weeks later. I deposited the check into my my Mom's account and the check came back not paid. The check is stamped Return Sender-S Refer to Maker. I called Sportbook.com and spoke to an agent named Roger Jimenez located in Costa Rica. He told me to fax a copy of the returned check to the verification department and they would recredit my account. When I contacted Verbatim Company about difficulty in getting ArcSoft QuickDVD to function properly, I was informed that they did not support this software.
