Oak Furniture Solutions of 16 Arlington Place Bristol did not deliver my goods. The took my money six weeks ago and every time I telephoned them or the courier, I was told complete lies all the time that it had been despatched. This happened on numerous occasions. They simply do not know what they are doing, except taking money. I would not recommend buying from Pella. We found the same doors at Lowe's for $800 cheaper, but went with Pella for their "Superior service and installation". That was a bag of crap. Doors came in the first time with factory defects in one and unfinished with the other. Never could get a hold of anyone without having to complain to a manager, then the person would call back. We installed 16oo sf bella wood floor in my house in 2009. Right after the installation, all of my family members started to have allergic reactions, headache, dry eyes, burning throat, skin rash, etc. We did indoor air pollution analysis, and found a high concentration of formaldehyde (25 times higher than it should be) in my house. Wood floor material analysis found it contains a large amount of formaldehyde in the top finish of the bellawood floor. My wife and I have received charges on our Enbridge Gas Bills for home maintenance plans and their respective cancellation despite never ordering them. The actual charges were generated by Direct Energy and processed through Enbridge's monthly bill statements. We believe that many others are victims of this fraudulent behavior. I bought a Black and Decker laser leveller. However, since the product was a professional and far beyond what I intended to use, I chose to return it within 30 days of the purchase. However, the store manager refused to return the laser leveler saying that it is a "Power Tool" and therefore not eligible for return. Oh they said you must have read the small print about if we transfer any amount we charge you interest on the outstanding Balance you transfered! Ashley furniture store in Yuba City, CA (now out of business) sold us a leather chair/ottoman that was delievered WRAPPED & IN A BOX & the when we unwrapped it the chair hard 2 tears in the material. You can not avoid sliding forward and to the middle of the sofa (pic). I specificaly asked the salesman if these cusions would sink in before sale and the salesman assured me that they are made with high quality material and they will not sink in. Chateau Beauvais sofa cushions have sunk in only 2 months after purchase. Le Pere du Meuble customer service called and repeatedly pointed out that I must fluff the cusions, wich I already do on a weekly basis. When you attempt to purchase something the credit card option comes up as inactive and they request that you Western Union Money direct. This company built a house last year and claimed it would: "offsets minimum utility charges, and offsets mortgage payment" The house needs about 4, 000 more watts of solar on it to be net-zero (offset electric bill) and will never be able to offset the mortgage payment. They just finished another one (photos attached) and the signs claim it will: "eliminate gas & power bills" The house has a small (1.8kw) solar array and has a gas powered fireplace, gas powered range, gas powered hot water heater and a gas powered furnace. Building Contractor did not come back and repair the sheetrock in room of house that they sawed apart in four places in order to fix one of their mistakes previously had been done.
