The resort posts very beautiful pictures about its location but in fact it does not have any beach since it is located on a swamp area while it takes about 30 swamp area while it takes about 30 minutes walk from where they drop you off until you get to the resort. Anyone with a luggage will suffer tremendously since no one will help him/her carry the luggage for the 30 minute walk to the resort. My four friends and I arrived at the hotel at about 730pm in the evening, after a long train journey from Chur on the Bernina Express. We arrived by cab as the hotel was very far from the tram/metro links. (Good location, ha! TAM Brazilian Airways has a long way to go to pretend to be like the big boys. First, it has the Orwellian policy of not letting anyone, but Brazilians reserve flights on their online site - since they require a brazilian cpf number to book the flight. I have tried to receive a better rate at Doubletree Hotel by submitting a several claim forms. They have not responded to my last couple of claims even though the rate is lower. I have contacted the customer care dep't to be stalled once again. I agree with the other complaints on this board that the best rate guarantee at Hilton is a scam. I sustained bed bug bites while staying at the Sleep Inn Denver Tech Center. Even though Bill Toors, the manager, two of his staff members, my roommate, and I, upon inspection, saw excrement staining on the box springs and actual bed bugs, the manager now claims there were no bed bugs. The hotel needs to upgrade the tv's in the guest rooms. They still have 19 in (box) color tv's. I stayed one night on 1 July 11 in RM 1811. The drainage on in the sink was very slow. The carpet was not clean in the room and the iron in the room didn't work well. We were unable to change rooms so we were stuck in this room for the night.
