I bought into trendwest, I was also told that I could not cancel my contract. They took money out of my bank account for two years. I was never able to use the Resort. I made this reservation at 3:00 on Fri. for my husband & 2 sons (10, 12) for that night. When I pulled up Yahoo "hotels" I didn't check the calendar as it typically pulls up the current date. I booked the hotel for one night.For some reason, it pulled up a Fri 3 weeks in advance. Upon checking in, my husband realized the date was incorrect and asked to change it to that night. They were cought not changing the sheets between guests. If it weren't for a stain on the top sheet, who would know. I called for the maid to change the top sheet and when she removed it the same stain was on the pad below - which means the sheets were the same from from previous guests. They were great at resolving the problem, got a free breakfast, but I will never trust the hotel again. read full review »

Does anyone know what the RCI Corp Headquarters address is; who is their agent of service or CEO? Is anyone a member of Currently, Brownsville Vacation Time Condos? or Former ORE system member or owner in Utah or their Bear Lake? Brownsville has our initial payment and 2008 and 2009 payments but claims RCI didn't authorize RCI says it is Vacation Time: so which is the liar? I guess the court will have to decide. Here is the letter that I send to Sandals customer service - I emailed them and recieved no response, so I maiiled in a letter as well. I never recieved any type of response from Sandals in response to my issues. I would not recommend these resorts to anyone. To others my issues may seem dumb, but they were a big deal to me and I don't feel as though they should have happened for as luxurious of a place as they claim to be. Radisson Resorts & Casinos offers an Online Rate Guarantee on their website whereby if you can find a lower rate online, they will give you the lower rate PLUS an additional 25% off the rate. I found a lower rate (much lower) on Expedia for the Radisson in Tahiti; however, Radisson denied my claim on the ridiculous basis that the hotel rates were charged in local currency and therefore they had no way to compare the rates, even though, their website provides a currency calculator to convert rates in USD before you book. This is regarding Poor service offered by AF staff at the Paris Airport on 10th May2009. I have booked a ticket from Chicago to Mumbai using AF airline. They have given me connecting flights and I had to change the flight at Paris airport. Flight from Paris to Mumbai was scheduled to leave by 10.50am on 10th May 09. First time, they aborted take-off after gaining speed on the runway. They said there was a problem with a switch. We were not able to leave the hotel for 2+ days and nights because of lack of snow removal. Elevator broke and still no urgency. Hotel never called and never even offered to open up their breakfast coffee bar. But the worst of it was the walkways to and from our room and in front of our door were covered with ice fron Dec. 20th through Dec. 25th 2008. Bill McKown of McKown Properties cancelled our vacation rental and rented our week to another family. We paid our deposit in July 08 to hold our house for year 2009 and signed a contract. I was sent an email in April that our vacation was cancelled and they had rented it to another party. I confirmed that we did not cancel our reservation and would like our contract honored. We had booked a bus tour to Nova Scotia in June and purchased the insurance in case we had to cancel because I have a lung condition which sometimes becomes worse. I became ill in July and did visit my regular physician, who prescribed medication, but I was unable to get to see the specialist until August. We canceled our Trip July 3. (The trip was supposed to leave July 20.) We did receive $3000 back from the bus company with a note stating the insurance would cover the balance. The total cost for the trip was $3.980. I would like to comment and say that Cape Town International Airport should stick with one boarding gate. I flew up to Namibia after which I had one gate noted on my boarding pass, one on the notice board and one staff member thought it was a different gate. Then another had to walk down to check in deks to follow up on the correct gate number. Myself and a group of Americans were totally confused as to where to go and it is very disorganised for an International Airport. I am not sure what will happen when 2010 arrives! read full review »

Just wondering if you've had similar stories from other Irish holiday makers, we booked our Honeymoon to New York and Mexico the day before the swine flu outbreak, we paid a €2000 deposit, and although the WHO and the DFA have advised that non essential travel to Mexico be cancelled, we can't get our money back. The Company is Pulaski Fun Tours, PO Box 439, Pulaski, Wi, 544162. Here is my compaint. My wife and I paid $99.00 each for a three day tour. It was to leave on or about the 7th of August, 2006. On July 17th I had emergency heart surgey. We immediately called and cancelled our reservation for the tour and we were told we would recieve a return of our check in the almount of $198.00. We received several calls from this company regarding timeshare sales. They first called asking for my deceased husband. We listened to their offer until they requested $1800 upfront on a credit card (Amber was the sales rep.). The line was then disconnected. They called back on our home line (a male voice this time). When told we were not interested, they continued to call and use profanity and threatening language. i bought $130 of food today, the hamburger I boutht was sour I live 15 minutes away and put my groceries away as soon as I got h ome I put the hamburger in the refrigerator at 2:00 by 6:00 pm it had a rotton smell that I did not want to eat. This is not the first time this has happened. I bought steaks that went directly in the freezer and I am almost afraid to thaw them out and eat them for our family bbq this weekend. I was on the 4/27 sailing of the Carnival Ecstasy. I will NEVER sail Carnival again as the result of the poor experience I had. Please know that if you sail Carnival, you are taking a gamble on if you will have a good or bad experience. Our first experience was good, which is why we decided to take the second cruise. Best Las Vegas tours.com for tours in las vegas or grand canyon area tours is full of lies on their wed site. they give you a 7-715 pick up time at your hotel and when I booked, I have a 6am pick up at some other hotel that I'm suppose to get to on my own! they also state that the deposit they take out to hold your seat will be included in the price... not! they charged my card again beyond the deposit. We received a postcard from Epic Marketing inviting us to attend a travel seminar given by Legacy Resorts. We called and were told we'd get 2 tickets for roundtrip travel in the continental US plus 3 days in a hotel just for attending the seminar even if we didn't buy their travel package. This is my 5th time at the Standard Hotel's bar-restaurant. I'm sitting by the pool. It's really hot and i feel dehydrated so i order a glass of water with lemon among the 8$ rasberry mojito and the 15$ burger. The waiter tells me they only have bottled water. I ask him to repeat. Terrible. That is the word that I feel compelled to use when describing my experience with Carnival. Where do I begin? When I booked the reservation, I was told that the room I was getting was eligible for an upgrade. The agent’s instructions were, that upon arrival at the port of Miami before embarkation, I was to request the upgrade. I did so, but was told that I needed to board the ship and ask inside.
